India and the Moon

In Indian religious circles, there is a huge contention about the location and whereabouts of the moon. It is such that based on translations of their scripture, some Swamis say that it is not possible for people who are not devotees to reach the moon. Now Indian scientists have said that they sent a spaceship which will land on the south pole of the moon.
