Guru Release Hereafter

It may be necessary when one is deprived of the physical body, to gain release from following a path which proved to be useless.

I was with a deceased Swami who founded a devotional sect. Then there was another person who is ceased and who was an important leader in the sect. The first person the founder, did breath infusion on the astral side as I did it on the physical plane. Then his disciple who was an authority in the sect, after the founding Swami was departed, came there astrally.

He wanted to do the bhastrika pranayama practice but the founding Swami, his guru, did not encourage him. Feel the discouragement, the second Swami said this to me,

“Why did you not show this to me when I was alive. You never explained this. Now you teach it to my guru and he is disinclined for me to learn this.”

I replied, “How can you be taught a process which was banned in your sect? And besides if the Swami wanted you to learn it, he would have requested that you be shown or he could show you the portions of it which he is proficient in.”

The second Swami was offended by this. He said this, “I should be able to learn it directly from you. We were friends during some of the period of my last body. Teach it to me, I do not need his approval. And to booth, his process did not result in the spiritual changes which he described.”

I explained this,

“Unless you are released from him, you cannot learn another process. Your relationship with him is such that you are still linked to him in a manner which makes it impossible for you to learn another process. He must release you from his hold on you. Then you may practice something else.”

After hearing this the second Swami was despondent. The first one, the founder Swami, ignored him. The founder considered if there was a way to release the second Swami.

If one becomes fanatical, it will be difficult to shift one’s submission attitude to someone else. And unless that is completed, one cannot truly accept another guru.
