Greed for Sensation

Srila Yogeshwarananda wanted to me a statement about the buddhi analytical orb and sensations:

He said this:

Never mind Patanjali about cessation of the mento-emotional vibrational processes. The fact remains that the buddhi intellect orb has to have sensations as its diet of nutrients. It lives on that. A yogi must find a way to deal with that need of the organ. Ultimately if you harness an animal you become obligated to feed it. This happens later on when one is somewhat successful in trying to live up to the requirement of Patanjali.

Say that we do live up to that, say that somehow or the other, we do that, then again we are left to take care of the analytical orb and the kundalini life force. How should we do that?

Pranayama breath infusion is the yogic way to curb and regulate the diet of the kundalini life force, so that it becomes more cooperative with the aims of yoga. For the buddhi intellect orb it is different because it consumes not raw pranic subtle energy but developed sensations.

The yogi will have to feed it sensations.

~~~~~~~
Here it the key to that:
Stop the system (psyche) from hunting down externally generated sensations and find a way to get the sensations from within the psyche. Originally the system was created in such a way so that the self was matched to a kundalini and a buddhi according to the influence of the self. It is not that someone does the matching. It happens causelessly without planning and arranging. It just happens naturally that a particular spirit is fused with an appropriate intellect and life force. This is such that it is suitably matched, so that there are sufficient sensations in the psyche to fill the mouth of the intellect analytical orb.
The problem is that the sensations remain unmanifest unless they are stimulated by external factors. That is what the yogi has to work on, to cause desirable sensations without external factors, so that the intellect orb can get its quota of sensations without having to interact with stimuli in the environment.
There arises a greed for these external stimuli so as to get the sensations to be manifested or generated. That impulsion causes so many morbid habits and self-stunting vices. This greed has to be whittled away gradually by the yogi, so that he (she) can cause sensations from within the psyche to go that buddhi intellect orb for it to get its quota of satisfaction.
During breath infusion practice, when clean sensations arise, even if these do not have a lust impetus and are not as attractive to the buddhi intellect orb, they should be fed to it, until it becomes so accustomed to these clean feelings that it no longer has that greed for the externally stimulated feelings.
