Free Energy?
In the physical plane, I had been watching numerous youtube videos of Siddhanath Hamsa Yogi. He mentioned that he had the authentic Kriya yoga practice which was taught to him directly by Babaji in the Himalayas. His opinion was that Paramhansa Yogananda introduced simplified methods to the west, which reduced the potency of the practice.
I was drawn to this since I curiously perused the internet for information on Kriya Yoga and had some interest in Paramhansa Yogananda’s methods. The yogi also spoke frequently about issuing Shaktipat to attendees and seekers. From these discussions, I developed a desire to have this experience. Afterall, I was always open to freebies and quick easy fix methods of salvation.
On January 24th, 2021, I visited an astral ashram of Siddhanath Hamsa Yogi. He discussed several topics about the yogic path with me (I did not retain the memory of the details discussed). Then suddenly, a surcharge of energy entered my psyche. Upon this entry, I awoke on the physical side at 3:30am with energy throbbing through my body and a strong impetus to practice. As a result, my subtle body was temporarily elevated. This was evident from the quality of energy within my psyche, which was an upgrade from its usual content. I had only 3hrs of sleep, nevertheless, tiredness and lethargy were absent.
I discussed the experience with Madhva. His comments were, “Perhaps the yogi wanted to inspire you to aim for a higher level of existence.” I was excited and appreciated the value of the experience. Later I was made aware that there are liabilities that accompany the exchanges of these energies. One becomes indebted to the guru or yogi for the help received. One may consider. How is that debt repaid? And what would be the terms and conditions of repayment?
The potential scenarios frightened me since I was in the process of starting a family. I had ancestral responsibilities which I felt were more important to service and I needed to practice yoga consistently. Where would I find the time to help build ashrams and recruit seekers for a guru? These complexities helped me to understand the implications of my desire to receive shaktipat.
Disclaimer:
Though the events seemed to happen around the same time. I cannot confidently say that Siddhanath Hamsa Yogi was responsible for the energy transferred into my psyche. I made the assumption that it was him. This was done using a corrupt, half baked intellect. I also have not been able to get a confirmation from the guru due to my physical and psychic limitations. Nevertheless, I felt inclined to share my interpretation of the experience and hope that it brings awareness to the liabilities involved in seeking out “free” energies from gurus.
