Feeding Systems of the Adjuncts/Core-Self
In higher yoga, one needs to get down to the details of how the various adjuncts and the core-self acquires and consumes their respective fulfillments. Initially there is no clarity on this but gradually over time meditating, and being under the proper influence of an advanced yogi, one may be directed to sort the factors and gain clarity of insight.
Oneness if it means a general analysis of everything as one unit or as one being, is useless in this research. Here we need clarity so that each of the adjuncts, and the core-self even, is isolated and properly catalogued. If we can get the core-self to be alone, by itself, without being in contact with the adjuncts, then we can find out some truths about it. If also we can do that with each of the adjuncts to isolate their functions and influences, then we can better understand the so called self or being, which is an apparent unity of mixed influences.
Mastery of the conventional kundalini yoga causes a high level of astral energy to target the buddhi intellect orb. This results in a shift upwards of the orb, which is experienced by the observing self as a bliss feeling beyond compare. If the energy is too high or too much, the orb may be overwhelmed by it, resulting in total or near total loss of objectivity.
The one adjunct which is involved in digesting the sensations in the gross and/or subtle body is the buddhi intellect orb. It may seem that the kundalini is involved in sensations, to eat and enjoy these, and it is so but actually the kundalini produces sensations in a varieties of ways, just as at a restaurant one can get different meals. Still although the chefs and waitresses do eat the restaurant’s meals, the primary enjoyers are not employees. Similarly the buddhi intellect orb is the primary consumer of the sensations which the kundalini produces in the body.
To booth, the core-self all by itself, alone, cannot enjoy the sensations which are produced by the kundalini in the subtle or gross bodies. That self has to rely on the reports of the analytical orb. In fact we find that if the orb is overpowered or flushed by the sensation of the kundalini as in kundalini arousal when doing breath infusion practice, the core-self loses comprehension of the sensations because of not getting the reports from the analytical orb.
As for the core-self, it is the greatest mystery even unto itself. It can hardly know itself objectively. It has little idea about how it operates and about how it relates to the kundalini life force and the buddhi intellect orb. However, if a yogi practices enough he or she can unravel the massive ignorance and come to terms with how the core-self functions in the psyche.
In this creation, the core self is always surrounded by the sense of identity. That self absorbs chit akash energy, which is a bliss energy which is in the spiritual environment. For the most part, while it is in the subtle and gross material world, the self is starved of such energy and uses substitute nutrients instead. It feeds primarily on the sensation-report energy which is sent to it from the buddhi intellect orb.
As a malnutritious child cannot function properly and may develop brain abnormalities, so the core-self cannot operate sensibly and is to an extent schizophrenic when it feeds on the sensations produced by the kundalini energy and is starved of the chit akash energy.
