Divine Eye Prerequisites

Srila Yogeshwarananda at his astral yoga school on the early morning of April 3, 2016, gave some instructions regarding the opening of the divine eye, which is a supernatural perception used by very advanced yogis to peer into higher dimensions, into spiritual reality and also to check on regular reality for origins and sources.

All evolutionary secrets and lost time epochs can be researched using the divine eye. Its use can afford a yogi quick and terminal fulfillment for whatever he wanted to experience or know, so that he can evolved through millions of years of evolution in just half hour or less. It really gives a yogi the upper hand.

!~~~~~~~!

Srila Yogeshwarananda said this:

The prerequisite for using the divine eye is full compliance with Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras 1:2, where all the vrittis are eliminated. This includes the very persistent and stubborn sleep vritti. The indicator of success with this is the core-self’s ability to smash down the buddhi intellect orb so that it no longer has the authority to entertain or hypnotize the core-self.

In meditation the yogi should stand firmly and bat down that buddhi intellect analysis faculty and remain standing for as long as desired without the buddhi again imposing itself or making suggestions of what the self should indulge in within the imagination. For the duration of the meditation, at least, the yogi should have this tight control over the mind contents.

You want the divine eye? Then ask yourself if you have this buddhi analysis faculty under your thumb. That is the prerequisite.

Special Note:

The divine eye is a single perception like an ocular view through a large bay window or through a tunneling telescope. It is not a dual eye vision like that of the physical or subtle bodies. It occurs from within the mind itself as a direct perception into other dimensions, astral, super-astral or spiritual.

The level a yogi gains access to while using it, depends on the interest of the yogi, his level of practice, his motive and category.
