Divine Eye Development / Short Ray

This is a technique to be used by those yogis who managed to complete pratyahar in reference to the vision energy and who can anchor the core-self in naad sound resonance.

There are two types of long rays being transmitted from the core-self to the optic system in the psyche. The first has to do with extrovert tendency. This one is used in cultural activity for developments in the physical world. This is an impediment in yoga practice.

The retraction of those long rays or extrovert (outside) interest is called pratyahar sensual energy withdrawal. When a yogi did this sufficiently, he (she) will find that the rays no longer pour out of the psyche, instead they remain in the psyche without exhibiting a need to go out beyond the edge of the individual mind.

The second set of long rays, occurs when the core-self emits energy which forms into rays which go outside the psyche. By these rays have no interest in the external material world or in the subtle world which is directly related to the external material world?

However there are short rays which emanate from the core-self and which pass through the intellect organ and proceed to the inner edge of the psyche with no interest or urge to go any further.

These short rays help in the development of the divine eye. With such an eye a yogi can review many dimensions where he checks for desired circumstances.

The short rays leave the core-self and venture through the intellect but with no haste, no interest or urge to go outside the psyche. These collect an energy just near the center of the eyebrows, where eventually the divine eye becomes functional.
