Divine Eye – Buddha Method

I was doing a kriya which is a test procedure which if it works, I would divulge to students of inSelf Yoga™. This was shown by Srila Yogeshwarananda. As I was doing the procedure after the afternoon breath infusion session, Lord Buddha appeared to my right, up in the sky floating about 10 feet from where I sat. He said he used another method and wanted to show it to me.

He called this the tug method:

One should sit to meditate after breath infusion or after some other method which causes the mind to automatically internalize without any images and ideas flashing in the frontal part of the subtle head.

One should then make contact with naad sound resonance unless this happens spontaneously. One should brace the core-self into the naad firmly, such that it leans on naad and is solidly supported by naad.

One should then send a tug energy to the location where the buddhi intellect organ is located. This should be done every five seconds or so, repeatedly.

!~~~~~~~!

Lord Buddha said that this method is steadier because the core-self remains stationed in naad solidly and only sends that tug energy out. Of course one would have to ascertain beforehand where the intellect is located. It is likely to be invisible because of not operating. When it is not operating it goes into a blank condition.

While doing this there might be flashes of astral or supernatural objects now and again. The yogi should note this but should keep up with the tug practice every five seconds or so. When I was doing this practice of Buddha, I noticed a flash of a dark-green complexioned buxom woman in the nude. That lasted for about three seconds for the most. That was the only appearance. It is not unusually for yogis to see astral beings during meditation.

If during this practice any memory becomes illustrated or any idea or image is manifested which indicates that the intellect resumed its convention of showing ideas to the core-self, the yogi should withdraw interest from the intellect and continue the practice.

The yogi should ascertain if what is seen is conventional operation of the intellect or if it is astral or supernatural perception in a flash. The divine eye is different to either of these because of its clarity and because of the illuminating light which is present when it operates.
