Discernment in the Hereafter
Even though we may be satisfied with the sense of discernment and we proudly broadcast that we can be all we want to be, and that the sky even is not the limit, still it is a fact that early on in this life, there was development of discernment. Before the age of twelve much of it was done haphazardly and involuntarily. For instance can you recall how you learnt to walk or that walking which is done automatically now with hardly any thinking and discernment, was in infancy a hard to grasp skill; one which was filled with embarrassing and scary moments?
What was the limit then?
Where was self-esteem at that time?
Do you remember when you put one foot ahead and found that it was a miscalculation which resulted in a fall, loud crying, sobbing and an inner feeling of being crushed by reality?
Did you look to see if any adult notice that you miscalculated and fell hurting your body?
“O, yes,” you may reply, “I remember some of those incidences but now it is different. Now I have developed discernment. That will never happen again.”
But did you check to see if any of your elders have dementia or Alzheimer?
Are you sure that hereafter you will have the developed discrimination which you have now?
Why were you not born with it, if it is carried over from the past life or brought from whichever existential environment you were in before assuming this embryo
Can you assure me that it will be with you hereafter?
I have doubts about that because in this lifetime, it was not there as a developed form in infancy.
Please, if you have evidence that your discrimination will be with you hereafter, share it with me.
