Desire as Rebirth Cause

I had an astral encounter with a lady who is now deceased and whom I met and associated with in the 1970s. Physically I have not seen this person since 1979, but on the astral side, I do see her infrequently since she passed on from her physical body some six years ago.

When someone passes on, even though one had little contact prior on the physical plane, one may have dreams involving that person. I did a garden related chore, when she arrived on the astral side.

She said this.

“We should be together. We should be involved in a garden just as we were when I met you so many years ago. I will wait for your full transfer to the psychic plane. Then we can take new bodies so that we can meet in the teen years, fall in love, and then be married and engage in a flourishing garden. I know you have a knack for growing edibles and flowering plants.”

I did not reply because I could not, under the circumstance, give my view of the request. However, my view is that it is unreasonable to expect that a yogi would take another body based on someone’s desire, even a loved one. Of course, such an invitation includes sexual promise. But even then, is it worth it?

One may even get a body in an area where the other person would get one, and then the fate may change where one’s parents leave that area and one has no chance of meeting and then marrying the said person.

But what should a yogi do? Should the proposal be rejected? What does it mean to love somebody? Is there a limit on the love value?
