Desire and Adhesive
Due to the study of chemistry, modern humans developed super-adhesives. These are specific chemicals which form extremely strong bonds. There are also psychological and existential bonds, which form as someone transmigrates through various lifetimes.
One of these is observation through one or a combination of the senses, of hearing, touching, seeing, tasting, and smelling. Any observation, regardless of if it is minor or major, through either sense, immediately when observed, causes a certain desire to adhere to the coreSelf.
Such adhesive is so strong that regardless of the notation of the person who experiences it, there will be a register, which will in the future cause a desire to sprout. But as any bond of two materials can be broken either chemically or by some other means, so any desire can be shattered, where the compulsion to lived through it, becomes dissolved. That frees the individual from having to serve the desire.
It could be a desire in the nature of the individual, in its psyche, or it could be a desire in the subtle body of another person, who was bonded to the desire-free individual, at some time in the past, when an observation was made which caused the two persons to be involved.
To curb desire either in one’s psyche or in someone to whom a relationship was formed, one should recognize the projecting force of desire. One should keep at a distance from it. Any radio signal which is on the hunt for an antenna, will remain in the atmosphere without a connection, unless it reaches an antenna. Thus, the yogi should sense the signal and not allow his antenna to arrest or to be attracted to the signal.
