This is eye burst kundalini which is rare thru the spinal kundalini. Even rarer it gets with the energy spew.

When the kundalini from the spine hits with such a tremendous force thru the shown optic nerve nadis to the subtle eyes, it feels like physical or subtle eyes have popped off and one might try to catch the eye from popping off.

Eye burst kundalini can happen thru 

1. Spinal Kundalini  (Sushumna Nadi) (Rare)
2. Frontal Kundalini (quite often compared to spinal)

Features:

1. But this type of kundalini is even more special because it has an energy spew like that of a volcano.
2. Subtle eye spews out hard dark colors like passionate (rajas) and depressive (tamas) energies from eyes cells. Triggering a specific color is definitely not in normal human hands. 
3. It is not targetted, it just happens in common spinal kundalini arousals
4. The rooster pose and frog pose with breath infusion triggered it for me. It can happen in another asana too.
5. 2 different eyes can spew different types of colored clouds with different shapes based on the energy content and impurity stored in the eyes (as shown, that's how I experienced it). It does not need to be symmetrical all the time, 2 eyes behave differently.

Volcano (subtle eyes) spews out dark clouds of gases (similar to this type of kundalini)
