coreSelf light/sound ~ atmajyoti/atmadhvani

coreSelf light/sound ~ atmajyoti/atmadhvani

The appreciation of the coreSelf is the first step in self-realization. It yields self bliss or atmananda. Even though it is the beginning of deep meditation, it is difficult to achieve because the core must learn how to objectify itself to itself, becoming the object which it, as the subject pursues, captures and appreciates.

Perhaps it begins with the completion of pratyahar sensual interest retraction into the core which is followed by total recall of the interest energy which usually projects from the core. When the interest is folded into the core, and when it relaxes there and accepts that condition as its default relaxation, then the core should focus on naad sound resonance which is the sound which will shelter the core from the assaults of ideation, thinking and mental imaging.

After some time, some days, years or lives of focus on naad sound resonance, the coreSelf may become settled on itself but with a discontent due to not seeing itself and not experiencing itself as light energy, as radiance, as a source speck of consciousness which shines through itself as well as away from itself into whatever level of existence it exists in.

Then the self, by the grace of a great yogin, will suddenly realize itself as a source light which shines, which radiates spiritual light from itself. With that will come a new level of sound awareness of itself. That is atmajyoti, the light of itself which it sees in itself and atmadhvani the sound of itself which it hears in itself.

Though transcendental and difficult to objectify, the self is something!
