Confidence Investment

There is a confidence energy in the psyche. This cluster of feelings is saturated with the need to express itself in a psychological substance, either for religious or ideological purposes. It is very difficult to keep the confidence energy contained, so that it does not express itself or invest itself randomly.

Once it is invested, the confidence energy acts as a linking connect between an idea and reality. It does so regardless of if the idea matches or is supported by reality. This causes anguish because the individual becomes frustrated when he or she realizes the lack of support from reality.

Any investment, regardless of if it is physical or psychic has with it the expectation of a dividend. That means that the individual naturally expects an increase, either physically or psychologically, in the near or distant future. If, however, the investment is not supported by Nature, if it does not increase in value, it converts into disappointment on the psychological plane.

To refrain from this negativity, someone should operate in this creation by making investments but with an energy which does not expect any returns. There will be returns either in a positive or negative direction but the individual should not invest with expectation.

This is called free living, where there is no looping or connecting strongly to the growth of anything in the future.

In working with deities, supernatural beings, or things, one should not project one’s feelings and expectations. If one does, it produces a danger in the form of overconfidence and mistaken ideas about support from the deity.

In such situations, it does not matter if the deity is real or imagined. Even if the deity is real, he, she, or it, may not endorse the idea, may not support it, in which case there will be anguish in the nature of the devotee. Disappointment will happen. Reality will seem cruel. The person will be despondent.
