Cell Kundalini

The non-conventional kundalini arousal is cell kundalini. It does not have the chakra system for its distribution avenues as does spinal kundalini which uses sushumna nadi and other subtle conduits.

Spinal kundalini is described in many literatures like the Hatha Yoga Pradipika. Cell kundalini is not mentioned but it is an important development for yogis who mastered spinal kundalini and who want to go further based on observations of bunches of cells firing their micro-kundalinis in unison and bursting out here or there in the psyche like fireworks appearing in the night sky. It could be like a meteor shower accompanied by a bliss aspect which is neutral or pleasure-saturated.

Spinal kundalini is usually felt in the spinal column. That is contrasted to sexual pleasure experience which is focalized mostly in the genital region. Spinal kundalini is not genital oriented but it uses the reproductive energy to arouse the kundalini at the base muladhar chakra. After the kundalini is aroused, if the yogi applies the locks (bandha) he or she may guide kundalini through the spine into the brain where it might burst out at the crown chakra producing what some terms as cosmic consciousness.

Cell kundalini is different because it remains focalized in the bunch of cells which fired simultaneously or in proximity-sequence. In cell kundalini there might be no transit of the energy into the head of the subtle body. What is likely to happen is that a bunch of cells will fire, thousands of micro kundalini will fire in proximity and will condensed and compress into themselves right where they are located.

The yogi should be inspired to crunch this energy in on itself. Then it will outburst again and then the yogi will crunch it again and this will happen until the energy subsides.
