Breath Infusion Increase Instruction

This morning during breath infusion practice, Srila Yogesh on the astral side, told me to give him 200 breaths.
This means 200 counts during breath infusion practice in the head of the subtle body. This is a count in addition to whatever has to be done to get the trunk, thighs, feet and legs full of light (as in sunlight).
The point of all this is that a certain amount of practice has to be done before a yoga guru can help one to get to a more advanced stage.
Sometime after breath infusion to the trunk is completed, a certain reluctance comes on and one feels that one should break off from practice to go and meditate.
To go to higher practice, one has to resist this reluctance or ignore it, according to how one feels at the time. Help with this resistance may be acquired from a yoga guru, not by taking to him about it astrally or physically but by stating to oneself that one has an obligation to do this as it is insisted upon by the teacher.
When one gets an instruction to increase austerities, there is with that an energy of empowerment which is deposited into one’s psyche, but one has to take shelter of that energy to activate it. Otherwise it will be as if it is not there.

Special Note:
I do not count the number of inhales or exhales during bhastrika rapid breathing. I just count to a certain number as the breathing proceeds. This causes the counting not to restrict or control the breathing.
I may do say about 30 breaths in a 20 number mental count or even 18 breaths. I do not keep track of the breaths in terms of counting. The counting is done independently in the mind just as a number count.

This morning my practice went rather well, with some degree of satisfaction.
Meditation needs more attention. Sensual withdrawal is challenged.
But I attributed the opening or depth of the psychic infusion in part to Guru’s talk a day or so ago as I called to inquire regarding some aspect of doing afternoon sessions (as I put it to him, a moronic question).
The availability (since I know him in this life) and magnanimous predisposition of RishiDeva to me is such that I take his association for granted, and sometimes ask stupid questions. Anyways vanity aside, the reply turned out to be noticed as I practiced this morning.
So I thought maybe I could later in the day call him and express gratitude for the push, however corny that might sound. And, then in this post I found even more:

So it is about that energy of empowerment which he deposited in my psyche. So misfortunate I am however, that time and time again I historically have turned away from this imperceptible shelter. My endeavor is to find out what makes it so that I don’t remain in or don’t prioritize the protection from the other stuff of life.
As he explained on the phone call, it is about fulfilling one’s responsibility towards Guru. That indicates to me that ultimately, it is about submission and dedication to these instructions, and sheltering them from the others’ stuff of their lives. I should care to be fortunate enough to shelter, protect and perhaps even nurture this energy of empowerment, Providence permitting.
