Breath-Infusion ~ Abdominal Cavity Arrest

The news is that fully curbing the sex-reproduction facility is done in the least obvious way which is to curb the abdominal cavity. Napoleon Bonaparte and Frederick the Great are accredited as being the persons who brought it to our attention that an army marches on its stomach.

The idea is that it does not move on the basis of weaponry, even though it is impulsive to focus on that. inSelf Yoga is concerned with what is abstract to the normal mind. Its approach may seem counter-intuitive and it is so in the beginning.

Conventional kundalini yoga, which is a must for every student, deals with the sex-reproduction energy. This system of spinal kundalini arousal is very effective in coming to terms with the already generated reproduction-related hormones but it does not eliminate the creation of such energy.

Because the army marches on its stomach, to get rid of it once and for all, we should starve it. Anemic men cannot operate weapons properly. If they are starved long enough both they and their weapons will be useless. Their defeat will be certain.

To deal with the sex-hormone energy, it is best if the ascetic is advanced enough to deal with the digestive energy before it is converted into reproduction energy. Instead of working with the energy after it is converted, why not deal with it at the onset as digestive energy, just before the conversion.

If there is no conversion into reproduction energy, then there will be no reproduction energy to deal with. But there is a catch which is that if the yogi is successful in preventing the conversion into hormone energy, then that also has a downside to it, which is the bliss aspect of the aroused kundalini will not have the sexual pleasure similarity aspect to it. This might be undesirable if the student is attached to sexual pleasure feelings.

That is why this practice is for advanced students only, because beginners still need to keep the sex pleasure aspects in mind and may be depressed if they do not get that energy or a similar energy during breath infusion practice.

It takes some getting accustomed to, to change the psyche where it is satisfied with neutral bliss energy because previously it was addicted to the sex-pleasure bliss aspect and acted like a spoilt child if it did not get a similar happiness energy during the breath infusion practice.

Even for people who say they are celibate, even for the ones who claim they have no interest in sex pleasure, even for these people, there is an interest in it because it is not the core-self’s interest, or the observing self’s interest, it is the interest of the kundalini psychic lifeforce. That psychic adjunct has the sexual interest irrespective of the self-conception or aspiration of the core-self.

The task is to get the kundalini to change its interest, not the core-self. The kundalini runs an independent and parallel interest which is similar to, and to some extent dissimilar to, the preferences of the core-self.

At first the process is learnt when doing cell-kundalini arousal. This yields a neutral bliss energy charge. The energy is not really neutral but it seems to be that because the kundalini has the sex-pleasure energy reference. However if the student repeatedly does the cell-kundalini burst, he or she will over time realize that it is not a neutral energy but a full-blown bliss energy which seemed to be neutral because of the rating given it by the kundalini before when the kundalini used the sex energy bliss charge as the reference.

The importance of cell-kundalini arousal cannot be understated. It is so important because it gives the yogi a view of what life would be like in a subtle body which is used in Brahmaloka the dimensional residence of the local creator-god. When one experiences cell-kundalini seemingly neutral charges in the trunk of the subtle body, just relate that to having a subtle body which is saturated with that type of energy continuously. This would give some idea of life in a subtle body on the Brahmaloka heavenly place.

There is no sexual focus in such a body, at least not in terms of genital focus as we know it when using a material body or a lower astral form. The bliss aspect is evenly distributed through that body in every part of it, where all subtle cells in that form are bliss-charged equally. Hence there is no need for genital focus as we experience it here.
