Awareness Centralized

In meditation, it does happen from time to time, of its own accord, that there is awareness with no set edge or boundary, where the coreSelf is uncertain as to what it is or who it is, and where that core finds that it suspects that it is unlimited and undefined.

During such meditation, the awareness which is experienced is stationary but with no idea of its position in reference to anything else. It finds itself to be a radiance only with no access to anything and no connection nor reference with anything, even none to itself, even.

But from such a state of awareness, the self emerges. It resumes centrality, definition, reference, and boundary. How does the self shift through such states?
