Astral Lifestyle Hereafter
In the Bhagavad Gita there is a famous verse (my English translation):
यं यं वापि स्मरन्भावं
त्यजत्यन्ते कलेवरम् ।
तं तमेवैति कौन्तेय
सदा तद्भावभावितः ॥८.६॥
yaṁ yaṁ vāpi smaranbhāvaṁ
tyajatyante kalevaram
taṁ tamevaiti kaunteya
sadā tadbhāvabhāvitaḥ (8.6)
yaṁ yam - whatever; vāpi = va — or + api — also; moreover; smaran — recalling; bhāvam — texture of existence; tyajaty = tyajati — abandons; ante — in the end; kalevaram - the body; taṁtam - that that; evaiti = eva - indeed + eti — is projected; kaunteya - O son of Kuntī; sadā - always; tad — that + bhāva — status of life + bhāvitaḥ — being transformed
Moreover, whatever texture of existence is recalled when a person abandons his body in the end, to that same type of life, he is projected, O son of Kuntī, always being transformed into that status of life. (8.6)
This verse is mentioned repeatedly by persons who are familiar with the Gita but it is hijacked by many Krishna-loving religious sects which explain that if a person’s joins their group, that person will remember Krishna at the time of death and will attain Krishna. This guarantee of theirs is supported by quoting the verses before and after this one.
Bhavam cannot mean superficial memory or convenient chant at the time death. It means the intrinsic nature of the person his or her basic psychological profile.

In reference to this, I had an astral encounter with the father of my body on the night of July 23, 2015, where he resided in a house which was built on stilts and was located by a river side. The sewage from the lavatory of the house was blocked. He wanted me to repair it. When we went to the place where the septic tank was located, I noticed that from upstairs in the house there was a leak of water from the kitchen sink in the house.
I then remember the verse above that whatever texture of existence is recalled when a person abandons his body in the end, to that same type of life, he is projected, always being transformed into that status of life.
My father lived in South America. He was a seaman and lived always near a large river there. His habits concerning sewage was not as efficient and clean as it could have been.
Now in the hereafter those habits continue just as if he continued his physical existence with the same sewage mishaps.
Can you imagine going to the hereafter, being locked down there because of being deprived entry to your material body, and finding yourself to be the same as you were before, with the same skills and the same lack of expertise.
Do you think that you will suddenly change and become perfect after death of your physical body?
