Astral Body Samadhi

Astral Body Samadhi

Those who practice samadhi but who cannot complete the practice to perfection before the death, may continue meditation practice hereafter. There is a risk that the practice may not be completed on the astral side, which means that the yogi will again become an embryo and face whatever conditions are present in the social and physical place of rebirth.

Two deceased yogis who were in samadhi trance states in their astral forms, were awakened from those states when after being in a trance for some years, they did not awaken on the astral side or anywhere else. They were in an astral coma.

Babaji instructed Lahiri to give me the responsibility for bringing these them back to objective consciousness so that they would complete the ashtanga yoga practice they did before their consciousness was arrested during a samadhi practice some years ago.

One of the two yogis, came out of the trance but was bewildered and did not know the name he used before he went into the samadhi some years ago. He had no idea whom his guru was or which process he practiced. His memory of events was blank.

Because I was the first person he saw when he awakened, he accepted me as his friend and caretaker. By instinct for pranayama breath infusion practice, he practiced whenever I did it, twice daily. At first only a small part of his head was manifested. Later as he did more and more practice, the rest of his head, the neck and trunk, came to be. His thighs, legs and feet did not manifest. He was like a person whose lower limbs were amputated.

He was confident however that by doing breath infusion, his body would reform properly over time. Because he looks to me as a parent, if he keeps associating, his subtle body would assume a format which is similar to mine.

The other yogi did not awaken even after much energy was infused into his psyche. As instructed, I keep infusing energy into his form. The idea from Babaji is that eventually he will awaken or he will find himself to be an embryo as somebody’s child.

The format for the human body would be assumed by him if this happens but there is the hazard that if he assumes an embryo, he may get a body in an unfavorable social and political situation which would set him back in practice.

Babaji feels that those who do not complete the austerities before the physical body dies, should continue the practice hereafter in the astral existence. He informed that there is a risk that someone may enter an astral coma, which may result in acquiring a crippled embryo or even a suitable embryo but in circumstances which do not pivot the yogi to continue the practice. Such is the hazard.
