Abortion and Judaism

Is there any clear cut statements in the Jewish Bible or the Christian Bible about Abortion?

Reading the Old and New Testaments like a student studying for an exam and not as a religious zealot, I found no clear cut objection to abortion. In fact according the Old Testament, life, human life or a human being begins at the start of breathing in the body. 

Adam, the first man was not pronounced as a living being until the God of the Jews breathe air into Adam's clay body.

However some Christian sects claim that life begins at the time when the sperm penetrates the egg in the mother's body.

Some other groups feel it begins when the sperm is evaculated. Some feel it is when the sperm and egg penetrate the uterus. Some feel it is when anyone can hear a heart beat while using a listening device. Some feel it is when a scientific machine can show that fluids are in motion in the fetus.

The arguments are endless.
