Aasana Yoga ~ Postures

See this video below which demonstrates many of the difficult final forms of certain aasana postures. The video is misnamed as Advanced Hatha Yoga but it is not that according to the definition in the Hatha Yoga Pradipika. It is rather only aasana postures section of yoga but without inner focus on what is being released, captured and reconfigured when the aasana is assumed.Aasana Postures Yoga has that one serious flaw in it, where the student does not focus internally and does not know what to do with the subtle energies released during even the final forms of the poses. Can you tell if this yogi is focusing internally in each of the postures? What do you think? One can keep on perfecting final forms like this for thousands of years and if one does not develop the inner focus and apply it during the assumption of the pose, while it is held and when it is released, then one cannot be said to be progressing in the eightfold (ashtanga) stages.of yoga. Instead one will be stuck on the 3rd level forever. It can. It does happen to many students.
