Nāḍī Series-4: Circumferential Neck Nadis

Nāḍī is a Sanskrit word ( नाडी) and it literally has several meanings as per contexts like tube, pipe, nerve, blood vessel, or pulse.

Here, Nāḍī is used as a term for the subtle body channels through which the breath energy (prana) and life force (Kundalini) moves in the subtle & physical body (subtle & physical bodies are interspaced).

This is a sequence to Nāḍī Series-3: Architecture of Back Spinal Nadis: Side Converging, Diverging & Spinal Nāḍīs

Critical factors in Neck Nāḍī:

Nāḍī s will carry 2 types of energy:

  1. Prana (Subtle breath energy)
    1. There are several types of breath energy (including Apana & pollutants which can be carried or blocked in the Nāḍīs)
  2. Kundalini (life force energy)
    1. Several Nāḍīs discoveries eventually mean several kundalinis have started or eventually flow

The main features of Neck Nadi are:

  1. These are rare Nadis which are not visible very often.
  2. Usually, spinal or sushumna nadi  will be visible and act like conduit for head but here kundalini & prana energy to the head was taken by neck nadis.
  3. These nadis helps in developing the neck as a complete conduit for Kundalini.
  4. The circumferential neck nadis spread all throughout the head
    1. they take kundalini and prana energy to  mouth, tongue, jaw region
    2. Back, side, ear regions
  5. The diameter of these Nadi are like 1/4 or quarter of an inch (6 mm).

Asnas that triggered to see this nadi:

When I scratched the neck region with my nails during breath infusion practice sitting in vajrasana. These neck nadis were seen.

Kundalinis that are triggered by these Nadis:

Nadis are directly linked to raising several types and manifestations of Kundalini

Sometimes, one understands and raises the kundalini, and other times, the kundalini manifests and then, it reveals its corresponding nadis.

This Circumferential Neck Nāḍīs are directly linked or help in manifesting the following kundalinis:

  1. Frontal Kundalini
  2. Adams Apple/ throat Kundalini (Burst) (Rare)
  3. Front Cell Kundalini
  4. Trunk Kundalini
  5. Whole body kundalini
