Houston, Texas

This is an interesting type of Kundalini.

Tail Bone burst kundalini of this sort occurs both in an advanced form of Trunk Kundalini and Agnisara.

This is the advanced stage in both continuous Trunk Kundalini and Agnisara:

  • Sometimes a particular kundalini can happen in 2 different or similar stages of different practices,
    • or they can overlap and distinguishing 2 particular practices at specific instances is difficult
    • While triggering trunk kundalini, Agnisara might be triggered
    • This happens very often in front kundalini. While triggering the front kundalini and Agnisara will be triggered and vice-versa.
    • Both can trigger each other due to similar nadis in the pelvis and abdomen
  • This is different from spinal kundalini and has nothing to do with Sushumna Nadi at this stage of Trunk Kundalini
  • At Base Chakra or at the tailbone, the kundalini gets exploded single to several times
  • After which, the kundalini fills the head and trunk of the subtle body trunk with a gentle hue of golden color
  • This won't be observed consistently for a long time, but it is one of the intermediate stages in advanced practice to upset the kundalini base station

Asanas that trigger this Kundalini:

  1. Padmasana & Virasana Variations are helpful in buildup to this stage
  2. Mahabanda & Mahavedha are also the build-up to Trunk Kundalini (refer to Hatha Yoga Prathipika, Chapter 3)
  3. Mahavedha in Virasana is the key (Mahabandha in padmasana can also trigger this)
    1. Side Note: while writing mahavedha in virasana for Trunk Kundalini, I was inspired and mahavedha in padmasana was showed during practice, similar results can be achieved in that one too.
  4. This trunk kundalini does not involve the subtle aspect of Neck Kundalini, this is highly localized in tail bone or base chakra
    1. In previous Reverse Rain or Reverse Waterfall Trunk Kundalini, neck kundalini was the key. But here, trunk kundalini was triggered by base chakra without any neck kundalini triggering. There is a difference.

Both animations are pictures are added below.

  • Color: Golden explosion and mild hue as shown in the body
  • Texture: Explosion at the tailbone and mild even hue energy in trunk
  • Feeling:
    • Intense and burning at the base chakra or tailbone
    • the base chakra explosion energy loses intensity and fills the subtle body trunk with light golden or white hue-colored energy, very mild.

Important Note:

  1. This is rare, and it happens once in a while at Asnisara and Trunk Kundalini practice
  2. This can come in Agnisara, Trunk Kundalini, and Base Chakra Explosion, it fits all 3 categories.
  3. It is a direct attack on base chakra, the intense energy explosion in base chakra fills the trunk with mild subtle energy
