This is a type of Chest Burst Kundalini, a very important Kundalini and special type.
- This happens only when sitting upright in Virasana, Padmasana with arms push up actions in air, targetting chest
- This is a special type of Kundalini
- Agnisara cannot trigger this
- Every other kundalini including whole-body kundalini can be done with Agnisara but not the chest burst
- Kundalini burns at the chest as shown
- It can last upto 30 seconds or 30 minutes

- Color: Gold glowing in flame
- Texture: Prickly with flame-like texture as shown in the picture
- Feeling: burning hot to mild hot all over the glowing area
Important Note:
- This chest burst Kundalini itself can ignite a whole body kundalini which will start from cheat and go all over the body
- The chest Kundalini is independent of Agnisara or Abdomen from my experience.
- Chest Burst can my minimal and also can blow up with a huge burst bubble size covering the entire body
- The one chest burst keep triggering multiple burst too in the same location after a lag of 2-3 seconds

Great post. I recall raising Kundalini to the chest a while back but I don’t recall what posture caused. In fact, I only knew this happened after discussing my experience with Madhva. I cannot help but to asked how you drew the conclusions pertaining to what posture(s) triggers this experience and the exactness of the duration (30 seconds to half hour). I recall having an intense sensation in the chest area that lasted for a few hours.

- Which postures trigger the kundalini experience?
- Each asana or posture targets a specific area.
- I mentally record or note each posture and it's effect
- I redo it and test to see if it generates that specific effect.(trial & error method)
- Beauty of any posture is that it targets a specific area by nature!
- Take any posture, turn your neck→ the one side of neck joint is targeted, your attention goes there
- Now, see the effect on your psyche or subtle body
- With the stiffness or attention transfer to neck, can you use that to move the prana or kundalini or astral energy else where within the body, that's the big question you have to seek within during the practice?
- What you do with attention transfer in each posture is the question one must seek in the practise?
2. About time duration?
When I start my practice, I note the time. In fact, I have a good track how many minutes or hours of practice I do everytime.
In higher dimensions of practice, the time dilations easily happen, but nevertheless sense of time in this dimension is necessary.
I know my general time
- for each pose
- between each pose
- start and end of Samyama
- how long it took for pratyahara (noted from clock)
- how long it took for dharana (mental note from sense of time)
- Dhyana & Samadhi (this is where time dilation happens, I will come back and subtract the time from previous readings)

Ok, your response suggests that your post(s) is specific to your practice only, and another practitioner may have a similar or different experience. Using words such as “only”, “cannot”, “every”, and giving specific time durations without context suggests that you are taking an authoritative position on the subject matter, hence my question.
For example, I deduce from your response that you meant the following:
- For me, this happens only when sitting upright in Virasana...
- To me, this is a special type of Kundalini. (“Special” is a very subjective word—what is special for you may not be special to another, etc.)
- In my opinion, Agnisara cannot trigger this experience. (Someone may caution you to keep practicing and see if you develop a different conclusion. Also, using “cannot” is very bold and you must be prepared to defend whenever you use this word. It might be best to say something like “I don’t think Agnisara can trigger this experience”…this leaves room for further debate.)
- It is my opinion every other kundalini including whole-body kundalini can be done with Agnisara but not the chest burst. (Every includes all kundalini rises and someone will challenge this position since it is a very bold and conclusive statement. Using “not” says that this will never happen under any circumstance. My first thought was, how do you know this to be a fact for yourself much less for others? Someone may also caution you to keep practicing and see if this conclusion changes.)
- Kundalini triggered a burning sensation at my chest as shown
- For me, this burning sensation last up to 30 seconds or 30 minutes. (For my experience, it was an intense tingly sensation of sorts that felt AMAZING and seemed to have lasted through the night—I kept falling in and out of sleep to the same sensation—I shifted back and forth to an astral environment where huge beams of light were blasting through my eyes each time I opened them like the X-Men character Cyclops. That was by far, one of the most profound experiences I have had to date.)
I would say that the gaps noted about is due to English not being your first language, but you will only get better in time and with each post. Overall, I applaud you for taking such detailed notes and I appreciate you for sharing. Keep up the good work!

It is not a matter of authoritative position or subject matter expert.
Even if I become subject matter expert, what is anyone's problem in it?
Better science replaces old science. It does not mean old science was bad in first place. There was a better science came as natural evolution from old science.
If one has problem with words like "only", "cannot", "every", it is beautiful opportunity to counter with merit of his or her practice findings and insight than to school other's on their insight and practice.
If you want to counter my statements, I would rather be countered by merit of equivalent or better article on one's practice.
It does not matter whether English is first language or tenth language. What matters is the idea in it, than the words itself. Having published some scientific journal papers, I am pretty well trained on the nuances and art of scientific writing.
Now, coming to specific words, like "only","cannot", comes from the confidence and consistency of my findings. I would happy to see your findings on Agnisara, Agniyauna, Agniguda and challenge my position on chest Kundalini on how these agnisara methods work.
I trigger specific Kundalini with specific asanas and bandhas precisely. If it happens hap hazardly, I mention it.
Consistently triggering a Kundalini methods cannot be compared to one time wonders. If you can make the one time wonder an everyday affair, it qualifies as a method and I am happy to read it.
Again, even if I become authoritative position or subject matter expert in any topic, that's a great news to celebrate, than to envy. Envy is a sign of failure.
In my opinion, everybody should be a subject matter of expert in some craft in life, it can be anything from gardening, drawing to aircraft designing, etc. The question is the pursuit and endurance.
I am looking for answers with a method that can produce consistent result.
