However, generally speaking students will be interrogative initially, almost as to challenge the teacher.

But once this dance (I muse myself to consider it euphemistically as such) of the minds culminates, the student is subdued, soothed or satisfied.

At that point they open their mind and heart to the guru who can confidently and caringly transmit heavy or extraodinary knowledge for the benefit of realizing the self.
