Comment to 'Breath Infusion Samadhi States'

In the beginner's level of practice, the aggressive vigilance necessary makes it impossible to focus on the samadhi states which occur. There is also the danger of losing objective awareness during breath infusion practice.

If one becomes absorbed (samyama) at any stage, there is the likelihood that one will forget to keep track of the distribution of the pranic energy stored. That means that the stored energy from a session of compaction breaths may be used and then kundalini will act to switch dependence on the stupor inducing energy (carbon dioxide), whereby the yogi will lose track of the physical body and even the subtle one, which means the physical one will fall to the ground, enter a swoon state and may even begin to exhibit a nervous jerk movement.

Hence the practice of being absorbed during breath infusion is for those who practice for about five years to the minimun because by that time, the coreSelf would have developed the required control and automatic vigilance during the breath infusion practice.

Every boy wants to be a man but it takes some years to have the boy body grow into that of a man. How fast can it happen? Can it be forced?
