    • christine suroski What is breath infusion?

    • Michael Beloved

Michael Beloved Breath Infusion is known otherwise as pranayama or the infusion of prana into the physical and subtle bodies. There are several methods. More or less these involve giving the body more fresh air than it would normally ingest by its involuntary breathing. Simultaneously while infusion is done, there is the extra extraction of carbon dioxide and other negative gases from the blood stream.

Tanya Roberts This is very interesting. 1) You are in communication with your deceased teacher/friend. 2) There are astral cigarettes?!? 3) The soul (?) has cravings for the physical effects of nicotine....what is the subtle energetic transmission here, by that I mean, if not physical, then what is it? I ask because I thought bodily cravings would cease after death....you obviously have a more developed understanding of death than I do...please explain more if you can. 3) The effect of pranayama is cleansing not only to the physical but also the subtle bodies after death! And to think a bodiless being can have cravings and do things, like pranayama and smoking, that I associate with embodiment...so fascinating! (This is so interesting on so many levels, because it predicates a basic experience of the subtle body and the astral that are all but unknown to me...) Please explain more as you can. I am very intrigued.

Hans Mortensen Thank you very much .

    • Caroline Barnes

Caroline Barnes Makes me wonder what happens with alcoholics, or other types of drug addicts in the astral.

Michael Beloved Tanya Roberts, The subtle body (not soul) has cravings for the physical effects of nicotine
Suppose we were to discuss a relative who is an alcoholic on earth, a physical person. Then we have to admit the physical body of that person has the addiction even though that body itself is being ruined by the habit. And what about the soul? So this causes us to think about what the soul really is. Perhaps you have a reasonable answer. However in the same way the subtle body which we use in realistic dreams/astral projections develops habits some of which are self-destructive just as the physical system does the same. And again what about the soul who uses that subtle form?

Michael Beloved Tanya Roberts, Bodily cravings do cease after death and tht is certain as we know for a fact that the corpse of the deceased person exhibits no other feature except that of deterioration of the materials which comprised the body. However cravings are physical in part only. The psychological portion of those cravings will venture with the person after death of the physical system and it will do so in a format which may be termed as the subtle body (or ghost form). There is a verse from the Bhagavad Gita which is (my English translation):

      Michael Beloved Tanya Roberts,
      शरीरं यदवाप्नोति
      यच्चाप्युत्क्रामतीश्वरः ।
      गृहीत्वैतानि संयाति
      वायुर्गन्धानिवाशयात् ॥१५.८॥
      śarīraṁ yadavāpnoti
      yaccāpyutkrāmatīśvaraḥ
      gṛhītvaitāni saṁyāti
      vāyurgandhānivāśayāt (15.8)
śarīraṁ — by body; yad — which; avāpnoti — he acquires; yat — which; cāpi — and also; utkrāmatīśvaraḥ = utkrāmati — departs from + īśvaraḥ — master; gṛhītvaitāni = gṛhītvā — taking + etāni — these; saṁyāti — he goes; vāyuḥ — wind; gandhān — perfumes; ivāśayāt = ivā — just as + āśayāt — from source
Regardless of whichever body that master acquires, or whichever one he departs from, he goes taking these senses along, just as the wind goes with the perfumes from their source. (15.8)

I discussed the topic of astral project and death transition my many of my books:
