Comment to 'Body Use by Yoga Teacher'
  • It is similar to if someone uses a room in your house. Suppose a wealthy friend asked to use a room in your building, would that imply that you will automatically get some money from him?

    It depends, does it not?

However, whatever is to be done by the yogi for his perfection must be done by him and by no one else. The way another person would have that particular experience from the same practice will not suit exactly the way that the student should know it.

Using the same body to do a practice, where a yogi and then another advanced yogi, uses the same body, is similar to children who use the mother's body for getting embryos. Each child uses the mother's body while the mother herself uses the body but does that imply a benefit to the  mother?

While a child uses the mother's body during the formation of its baby form, the mother uses the same body for other purposes and each process is kept separate even though the mother does on occasion experience the activity of the child, like its kicking in the womb. And the child also may experience activities of the mother like if she has to do something strenuous or exciting.

The reply may be insufficient. If so, you may rephrase your inquiry.
