Yes, they are also a favorite with me.

Here's a poem that I wrote about them many years ago:

Dragonfly

If I’m worthy, when I die,

Lord, make me a dragonfly.

Across the meadow, I will flit,

Upon the saw grass tassels sit,

Shimmer in the summer air,

Dart and dive and hover there,

Seek some sullen stranger’s head

To light upon with angel’s tread,

Pouting that he’s been forgot

And whisper in his ear he’s not.

And lift his heavy heart away,

Like this one did for me today.
