Yogis take help from the Sun

MiBeloved 5 years ago

During breath infusion, I had some luck making some small kundalinis. For the past week, breath infusion was not as desired because the atmosphere was not properly surcharged with sun energy.

Still, I maintained the practice. On some days sun-surcharged subtle air is hard to come by because of natural or man-made chemicals in the air and differing weather patterns. A yogi has to live in peace with these variations. The main thing is to maintain the practice no matter what.

With 60 years and counting, with ultimate collapse of the body staring me in the face, it is in my interest to reinforce the practice. During the breath infusion, there were two small kundalinis which were in the face. These shot downwards into the cheeks on both sides. This felt like cool foam shooting through the checks. It was a bright white color.

Five minutes after that occurred, there was a kundalini force in the frontal chest area, this shot through the neck on the right and left sides near the front of the neck. Neck clean out is important since the neck constricts and limits the exchange of energy between the trunk of the subtle body and the head of it.

If the neck is blasted out properly in practice, then the energy from the trunk will flow into the brain and visa versa. One of kundalini’s bad habits is to keep the neck blocked. It allows food and breath energy to pass through the neck downwards. From this energy it manufactures hormones. It then uses these hormones for sexual expression.

Kundalini is very stingy about passing any of that energy into the head, except that it sends some of that energy as sexual charges into the senses. This gives the senses some intelligence about what to do to procure sexual pleasure.

A yogi has it as a task to disrupt this process of kundalini. By punching open the neck, kundalini is no longer allowed to store this hormone energy just for sex and it can be used to increase clairvoyance and other psychic perceptions, which help the yogi to better manage social involvements and to discover methods of spiritual realization.

When I worked on the lower part of the body, there was a time when the thighs became surcharged with energy. This energy usually stays in the thighs and is used by kundalini to motivate the sexual urge and to drive the aggressive energy used during sexual intercourse. I pulled that energy out of the thighs into the trunk of the body. Then I pulled it into the brain. This is part of what is called the urdhva reta practice, where a yogi pulls up the sexual charge of energy into the brain.

Special note on sun-charged air:

Yogis are reliant on properly sun-charged air for progress. This is because the consciousness or awareness which we work with on this plane is highly dependent on the sun. The sun planet though a physical orb is also an astral reality. All of the astral bodies are dependent on it just as the physical bodies are dependent on it.

In India there is what is called the Gayatri (Gai-tree or Gai-a-tree) Mantra.

This mantra has become warped because various sects in India claim it as their own and change its application according to the purpose of the Sect. In addition many people from other cultures confiscate this mantra and publish it with meanings which make sense within the context of their philosophy and motive.

However in the religious history of India, this mantra has to do with brahmins praying to and making contact with the sun-god three times per day, at sunrise, at noon and at sun set. It is mantra for greeting the sun-god and taking assistance from him as well as remembering that we are dependent on him. Brahmins wrap a sacred thread around the right thumb daily thrice per day while saying this mantra and meditating to make astral contact with the sun-god. This is called upavita (yajna + upvita).*2

Since in modern times, this is considered to be superstitious, even people in India avoid explaining the mantra in that way, even though that was the original use of the mantra in the Vedas.

The words of savitur, dhimahi, dhiyo (dhiyah) all mean the shining light of the sun god. Savitur is an altered word form of Savita*1 who is the sun god Aditya or Surya, the son of Aditi, in the original Vedic pantheon of deities.

As great a person as Krishna stated that the yogis use either sun or moon energy at the time of death to either go and not return to earthly rebirth or to return to the earth after staying in an adjacent parallel world. This s explained in the Gita.

If the astral body is not properly surcharged with sun energy, a yogi is stuck. And it won’t matter what his philosophy is. Just as if I have the best lecture to deliver and my physical body comes down with some form of paralysis, I would not be able to deliver the lecture.

We are not independent. And we are not going to be absolute anytime soon. This is why yogis are advised to take pranayama practice to infuse the subtle body with the right type of energy which elevates it and shifts it to higher planes.

Physically the sun is just a material object; in fact it is a subtle material object not being gross like the earth. It is more like the center of the earth, rather than the crusty surface of it. But the sun is also personal, just like on this planet we have persons. Of course we cannot physically perceive any person on the sun but that does not mean that for sure, there is no person there.

Thus ancient yogis made formal contact and offered their appreciation to the sun god Savita (Surya Narayana, Aditya). Without sun energy both on the physical and subtle level, we would sink down to a very low existence, especially on the astral side.

Test this by drinking a large bottle of alcohol and then check on the quality of your dreams and your overall even physical behavior. Alcohol is a type of energy. It is both physical and astral. Our state of mind is directly dependent on what we ingest from the environment. It is not all a matter of mind over matter. There are limits to that.
