Yogi's Address

Due to the influence of Tibeti Yogi, a new event has occurred which in a way seals my effort to attain a yoga siddha body, at least at departure from this physical system if not before. That is the conquest of the thighs, legs, feet, arms, forearms and hands. These extremities are hard to reach places which if left to their own devices will remain in a polluted state.

The main concern of a yogi is the subtle body. It does not matter what state one reaches in meditation, if the subtle body is not elevated before passing from the body or thereafter in the gap between taking another body, the yogi will still be tied down to lower astral planes as the environmental address.

Right now the address is the material body even though some people pretend that they are so detached from the body, that it has no impact on their realization. They are mostly in denial and delusion. Patanjali gave us a nice hint about the saturation of the subtle body with the energy from the level the yogi wants to attain. He gave that as the definite procedure. Question is how do you do that?

======================

jātyantara pariāma praktyāpūrāt

jātyantara = jāti – category + antara – other, another; pariāma – transformation; prakiti – subtle material nature; āpūrāt – due to filling up or saturation.

The transformation from one category to another is by the saturation of the subtle material nature.

======================

The key Sanskrit word is parinamah. In the ordinary sense namah means name. For instance in the Sikh religion they speak about Sat Nam as the name of God (Sat).  Do not confuse naamah with namah. The heavy initial a sound (aa) is a different word to the light initial a (a) sound which is pronounced like uh.

When you put pari with name it means changing the name. In this case it is changing the cultural designation of something. That something is the subtle body. Where will that subtle body be in the interim stage between leaving one body and getting another? One should have no fantasies about not getting a body. That is hardly likely because nature provides support for getting a body. It is not concerned with not getting a body.

So in the interim state where will you be, in which environment? That is the least you should clarify to yourself before leaving the physical system.

You might be thinking that you are just your mind, which really means that you are just your subtle head. Or you might think that you are just your emotions, for those of us who are into love and harmony, which means just the chest of the subtle body. But what I am saying is that you will have to carry your whole psychology at the time of death, not just the preferred part of your identity.

As such you would do yourself a favor to clean up all parts of the self or psyche. A clean head or chest which is bogged down by other parts which carry polluted energy will cause sure failure after leaving the body. You will be disappointed as you will not meet your goal.

Tibeti Yogi gave me some instruction in the past two weeks which has caused strides in my practice. These were very simply actions on the subtle plane and on the physical level and yet, I overlooked these procedures. This happens that when you are focusing on a certain aspect of the practice, you overlook another aspect which might be relevant. Help from greater yogis is a big event for success.
