Rishi Singh Gherwal asked me to explain to the students that the attainment of a siddha body has to do with the subjugation of kundalini and nothing else. He said that no matter what the yogi attains, if kundalini is not subjugated, the siddha status is not attained and the yogi will be dragged back down to whatever level of existence kundalini is compatible with. This holds true regardless of the philosophical and/or religious beliefs of the yogi.
He said this:
Consider that even a great professor at a university has to stoop to pass stools. Even the Queen or King of England has to pass urine. Even the President of the most developed country on the earth, has to give in to the sex urge. Even the Pope of Christianity has to become infirm in body. And even the Swami from any sect in India, has to evacuate foul matter from the body.
Similarly in the world of the hereafter, one will have a certain type of subtle body which will manifest on a certain astral level of existence, and will function in a certain way, no matter if one professes a belief in Krishna, or in Rama, or in Jesus or whosoever is one’s cherished deity, and even if one does not think there is an individual as the Supreme Being as Krishna professes, and one thinks that there is just Oneness or One Supreme Primal Energy.
If you can use the physical body to bring the subtle body to a higher plane, then that physical form was effectively used by you, not otherwise. Anyone can think up anything and have the most lofty aspirations, but that does not mean that the subtle body was effectively curbed from lower habits. That does not guarantee that the person will not be forced to go wherever that subtle body will go in the astral world hereafter.
Kundalini yoga begins with the effort to raise up the kundalini and that entails leading the hormone energy in the body away from the sexual facilities. So long as there is a route for the hormone energies to go in the direction of the sexual facilities, kundalini will remain on the ground level and will not rise into the head.
Once the student habitually gets kundalini to go up into the head, once that becomes the habit as compared to having the kundalini go to the genitals for sexual pleasure, then the yogi should divest kundalini energy all over the body, in every part of it, especially in every part below the neck, even into the fingers and toes. Once this is achieved then the neck should be flushed out completely. Initially working on the neck means only working on sushumna passage in the central part of the spine which passes through the neck. But later for full subjugation of kundalini, one has to flush out the entire neck. When this is done then the yoga siddha body becomes a reality for the yogi.
So what does this mean in real terms? This makes for an astral accomplishment where the yogi can go higher than the Swarga loka heavens to one of the advanced places which are listed as Janaloka, Tapoloka, Brahmaloka (Satyaloka). The astral body in those places do not have the lower urges. It does not lead back to the realm of physical existence but those in the Swarga places and lower lead back into physical existence, just as a great person with a physical body will have to use a urinal.

Please tell him message received. Although now, we cannot fully grasp how daunting the task is. We will stop at nothing to get kundalini under control before we leave these bodies.
