Yogi is Ship Mate in Parallel World

During a day nap today, my subtle body was pulled into a parallel world where my deceased father is now staying. He was a seaman in his past life. In this place, he posted me as a seaman to take his place on board a ship as captain.
In his cabin room there were many books on navigation and he instructed me to study up on them and brush up on how to navigate ships via the stars using geometry and trigonometry.
This is a continuation of something which actually happened while I was staying with my father in Trinidad around the year 1966 when he was a marine pilot and I was studying to pass some exams to go to the UK and attend South Hampton University to become a ship mate.
This encounter must have lasted about 20 minutes in earth time but in that parallel world it lasted for about a week, after which my father came back to the ship which I was resident on to take his position and relieve me.
When he got back I gave him all the ship mail which came for him and told him where some of his books were since some crew men had burrowed some of his books. He was with a woman whom he married and was living within that parallel world.
The significance of this dream is that my father is still hoping to continue in the relationship of his last life when he was hired by fate to be my father. He wants to complete that further.
This is madness of course but this is typical of what happens in each life, where people carry on with impressions from the past life and try to relieve those in the following life, come what may.
In the last part of the dream, there was a scene where my father was at a port somewhere in the UK. He somehow or the other got intoxicated and went to a library there. Then when he left that library, he fell down due to intoxication and some children picked up his body and took it into a seaman’s shelter. All the while my father had it in his mind that I should be on hand to protect him from being robbed by people who usually rob drunken sailors.
In his past life my father was an alcoholic for many years. Due to this idea of my protection in his mind, my subtle body followed him wherever he went but it remained at a distance in a sub-dimension in reference to that astral place, so it was not seen in that astral dimension but it could see everything which occurred there. It could hear all conversations and see all occurrences. My father alone was able communicate with it even when his subtle body was in a drunken state.

It’s very interesting to me that you were not seen in part of your experience.

Jettins' reply:
Where you a point of consciousness seeing into this dimension? Or did you sense it to be more like an invisible version of you? Was your subtle body visible to you yet invisible to others? Or was your subtle body invisible to you as well and could you feel your body? Did you feel heavy or light? The stability of fluidity or dimension or projected state, how did scenes shift from one to another?
Sorry about the questions, it’s just that I’ve had experience where all this happens. I am trying to find out about our projected or existing state of being in relation to what is being psychically sensed. There is a relationship that could be used to understand psychic potential at any given state of being, or at least as an approximation. Problem is that state of being is difficult to define in a tangible way. Maybe if we understand our “condition” while in the different types of projections or in other words the particular psychic potential defined by the projected being.
Descriptions of these states could be very challenging a person might need to be very lucid or highly observant, not to mention the difficulty in trying to make sense of how things look/feel/sense as it relates to the psychic potential needed to open up certain particular dimensions. Maybe it could help establish thought pattern that is first learned than naturally realized as part of our being. I know this forum doesn’t particularly get into this kind of things as it’s not part of the Kriya Yoga practice and is a bit on the occult site, yet just for studying purposes it would be interesting to know how our projected state open or closes the door for certain type of psychic experiences. It appears to me that when something has been realized it goes beyond lucidity, in other words what is associated with "full waking consciousness" is no longer needed yet the ability remains as it is part of our being.
I am brain storming a bit here, so don’t be too hard on me on this one.
Something else. Many people have noticed that in some astral projection experiences a person they encounter is not able to see them, and at other times the other people becomes afraid as if they saw a ghost, or they become afraid of an invisible presence. This happened more in the past, when I first started with out-of-body experiences. What is your take on the reluctance of these individuals to fully acknowledge the presence of other spirit beings?
Have a great day!

Jettins' query:

MiBeloved's Response:
My subtle body was not visible to me or to any others. Still it was perceived by me and not by others, except for my father, the person who was controlling the movements of my subtle body.
The subtle body might be perceived even though there is no visual apprehension of it. Perception is not only a visual sense. It can be had just by the feeling or touching sense. In this case it was a feeling perception without any visual register.
But in this case also the same visual sense which could not perceive my subtle body could perceive the subtle body of my father and the people who were in the dimension he was in. So the subtle eyes in that case were unable to see the form of its subtle body but could see other perceptions.
This happened by the power of my father where he was able to cause my subtle body to be like that for a limited time.
We sometimes experience in this world, where someone who is ordinary gets an opportunity to do something that is extra ordinary. For instance the case of Osama Bin Laden, whom they claimed got planes to fly into those buildings. Normally that is impossible but it happened (if that is the case) as a fluke thing.
Or the case of Obama becoming the president of the US. That is a fluke thing. So like that sometimes an ordinary living entity like my father, can do extraordinary things because of a queer allowance of fate. He will not be able to repeat this necessarily. It does not mean this is his normal situation but if fate empowers you at one moment you might do the impossible.
The reason why my father had my subtle body to be invisible was his need for me to only be present under certain conditions. When my father was alive physically he used to frequent bars and places of prostitutes. Under the circumstance he used to want to have an escort who could protect him from being ripped off but he did not want the escort to invade his privacy. In the astral world that desire of his caused my subtle body to be invisible because he did not want others in his dimension to see that he was being escorted.

MiBeloved's Response:
Fear of invisible people is natural. It is caused because one cannot predict what that invisible person or force may do. This is natural. There is nothing behind it outside of that even though various rationalizations may occur in the mind to try to figure it out or make sense of it.
Fear is a natural part of this creation. It should be accepted as such. There is nothing wrong with being fearful. It is totally wrong to tell people something else because the fact remains that so long as there is a power bigger than you, fear will always be a natural outcome under certain circumstances.
