Yogi Fire Pit

Swami Muktananda showed me a perineum wire-like kundalini point. When seen inside the subtle body, this is at the perineum area from inside going upwards. It extends dimensionally for about 10 inches and has a  cork-screw configuration near the bottom of it, of about two and one half curls, of about one inch diameter.

When seeing this it looks like a gold stainless steel but it is not a physical metal. It is actually a subtle energy. This has no relationship to the sushumna nadi kundalini energy. The energy of it does not bridge across to the muladhara chakra. Instead it fires up through the center of the subtle body as if it was targeting the throat.

Swami Muktananda said that this type of kundalini which is self-generated and which has nothing to do with prana kundalini in terms of sushumna nadi and chakras is sometimes said to be the fire pit because it is reminiscent of what aborigines people must do to generate a fire by rubbing sticks.

In the Vedic period ascetics used arani wood for making fires and as a result Sanskrit terms like aranyaka (a-ra-ni-ak) were popular during the period when the Upanishads were written.

A question happened to come to mind: why generate more kundalini?

MiBeloved 5 years ago

That is not the same type as the bothersome prana kundalini.

As the subtle body jumps higher and higher, there is a corresponding energy intake and energy configuration.

There is no choice in the matter.

But while on the physical plane, we leave kundalini to run the show while we experience the pleasures and pains of its action, on the higher plane one has to work to create the behavior of the new kundalini.

Dean's question: So kundalini remains in the subtle as it travels to the higher dimensions?  Does kundalini ever separate permanently from the subtle form?

Dean's question: So kundalini remains in the subtle as it travels to the higher dimensions?

MiBeloved's Response:

It is not the same kundalini. Eventually if you keep practicing and get some mastery, the old kundalini will leave the muladhara base chakra and will jump up into the brain and become stub kundalini which hangs under the brain about 2 inches down. Once you do this, then there is no more kundalini in the old sense. And then you will generate another system which is different type of kundalini energy which is evenly dispersed through the system. It has no chakras and the like.

===========================

Dean's question:

Does kundalini ever separate permanently from the subtle form?

MiBeloved's Response:

This is answered above, that it does not. There is always some kind of life force in the subtle body but its configuration changes as the entity feeds on a different kind of energy.

Let us look for instance at the time when I used a lizard’s form. There was a tail and in it there was a nervous system. So then in the subtle body of that form there was a muladhara chakra which extended downwards for many feet through the tail.

So then in the human form, the kundalini was a bit different.

So as one advances in the direction of the astral celestial planes, there are changes as well.

Prana kundalini which is the one with the Sushumna central passage and the nadi system is the most primitive kundalini but if you can keep it raised into the brain then you begin to experience the beginning of divine life.

Chit kundalini has no survival interest, no system of planning for nutrition, reproduction and jumping to another body to be an embryo. Therefore its configuration is not based on that premise.

If there is nothing beyond that, then it means that we are eternally stuck to take survival bodies as humans or less. There has to be something else.

Dean's Question: How does that configuration change as the entity feeds on energy from the spiritual body?

MiBeloved's Response:

Spiritual body is out of the question because it is self-sufficient and is not a feeder system. However the subtle body when it is upgraded to siddha status acts like a spiritual body to a greater degree. It is not the spiritual body but it is the closest one can get to that type of body using the subtle material energy.

The kundalini system which we have as human beings or as animals is configured for adaptation to survival forms which will die. This is why it has that chakra system from which the central nervous system is designed in each of the creature forms.

Kundalini has designed the chakra system to make the most efficient use of these material bodies but what if you are no longer appearing in a survival world, then what?

How would it be if you saw a Neanderthal man in New York City with his Stone Age tools?

How would he fit in?

So once we get rid of this need for creature survival, obviously some other design is required.

Instead of those stone flint tool, it would be the iPhone, the designer jacket, the cooked meat hamburger and the like.

****************************

But go back in time to when you first came into the material energy, where you were just a consciousness without any defined form which you could recognize. Then the first species you may have become was something like a unicellular organism, an ameba.

Then over time your kundalini got it figured out as a fish, and then later as an alligator, and that is how the kundalini gradually figured out this kundalini chakra system. The top of the totem pole is the human body with it is advanced spine and brain system.

So once you reach the top then you realize:

“What am I doing in these survival situations?

Is there something else?

How could I exist without surviving?”

So then you begin to whittle away at the whole thing which you took billions of years to develop. Then you are reluctant to let go of that kundalini system because you invested so much of yourself, your time, into it. But the yoga-guru is urging you to dump all that advancement, to reconsider, to find a life which is free from survival concerns.

If okay, I am interested in a categorization of the bodies according the nature of the energy used, therefore a hierarchy.

Not accounting for exceptional souls (like avatars)...

Such that:

Material substances / physical body - subtle body

Prana subtle air / subtle body - siddha body

...................................spiritual body...

(There may be different traditions)
