Yogi and the Astral People

Last night was a humbug situation of one person after the next, like a grand central station at the end of the day with all workers rushing to catch express trains to their homes.
In the Bhagavad Gita, in Chapter 8 there is mention of the influence of the sun and moon on the subtle bodies of those who are deceased, where if they are under the influence of the moon they take the path of return and if they are under the influence of the sun, they take the path of no-return but are projected to higher dimensions.*
Some say that this does not apply to them because they are devotees of Krishna who transcend such influences. But really? Are these people actually keeping track of the present performance of their subtle bodies or are these people just happily living on assumptions which have no application to what they do in the astral world?
Last night the atmosphere where I am in Alabama was different. It was like the air was imported from the West Indies, the North Coast of South America. And there were Caribbean and South American astral bodies all over the atmosphere in this part of the USA.
It was like when you are on an island and there is a trade wind which comes from another place. It brings mosquitoes and makes it miserable for everyone. The little bugs cannot fly such distances on their own, but with a free ride in a trade wind, they can traverse large distances.
First I saw some persons from Trinidad whom I knew years ago. They were excited to be with each other and glad to see me. I dodged some and hid from some but those who had meaningful relationships with me years ago could not be avoided.
Some of these persons were the same as they were many years ago with the same ideas, same mannerisms, and same idiosyncrasies. Then I saw my father, who came from the North Coast of South America. He knew some of these Trinidadian persons but now he, like some of them, is deceased.
Looking at a few ladies who were there, and who were his age when he used his last physical body, he said, ”I know you have to be celibate to practice that. That is yoga. It requires celibacy. I know that much about that.”
He then pointed to me and said, “He helped us. There was some family difficulties, some liabilities but he covered the expenses. He helped us.”
After this he asked me about one of his grandsons, as to whether he was making a family or not. I told him that he should speak to the person directly since I do not supervise such things. I did enough in helping this family’s ancestors already.
Except for one person, these astral persons even though deceased have no spiritual interest. Their minds are honed down into physical existence just as if the astral reality had no value and the physical world was the only reality.

* O bullish man of the Bharata family, I will tell you of the departure for the yogis who do or do not return.
The summer season, the bright atmosphere, the daytime, the bright moonlight, the six months when the sun appears to move north; if at that time, they depart the body, those people who know the spiritual dimension, go to the spiritual location.
The smoky, misty or hazy season, as well as in the night-time, the dark-moon time, the six months when the sun appears to move south; if the yogi departs at that time, he attains moonlight, after which he is born again.
The light and the dark times are two paths which are considered to be perpetually available for the universe. It is considered so by the authorities. By one, a person goes away not to return; by the other he comes back again.
Knowing these two paths, O son of Pṛthā, the yogi is not confused at all. Therefore at all times, be disciplined in yoga practice, O Arjuna. (Bhagavad Gita 8.23-27)
