Inquiry: Since physical strength comes from your root chakra do you know any methods or techniques to increase physical strength? I lift but I'm trying to unblock my root chakra.

To increase physical strength, you should block the root chakra, not unblock it. The energy at the root chakra becomes denser when that chakra is blocked up.
Doing yoga asanas and wanting to increase physical strength is contradictory because asana postures are really for relaxation of the muscles and tendons while for physical strength one need to tense and tense-flex the muscles and tendons.
Increase psychic perception will occur from opening chakras, but that will cause a decrease in your overall interest in the physical side, with the result that your physical prowess will decrease.
For increasing physical strength one is better off forgetting about yoga and just focusing on the material world. Instead of doing asana, one should to Western or Eastern style weight lifting and other related disciplines which tense-flex the muscles and tendons.
Yoga, at least the classic yoga from India is not for increasing physical strength.
