What causes multiple births (i.e. Twins, Quads, etc)??

A link struck my interest where a woman in Texas gave birth to two sets of identical twins in the same day. The odds of this occurring - 1 in 70 million, so it got me thinking...
What causes two souls to come back into the world as twins or quadruplets or other sets as such? Were they probably twins or siblings in a previous life or even spouses or is there no such logical relationship? How does nature determine this phenomenon or is it simply scientific?
What are your thoughts?

Usually this happens because of a strong attachment. There is a story in my family, where one of my great aunts, told me that she did not marry because when she first went to the UK (from what was called at the time British Guiana), she went to a soothsayer woman, whom she asked about what kind of husband she should look for.
The woman told her,
“You came with your husband. There is no other husband for you.”
The lady did not know anything about my great aunt who was a twin to one of my great uncles. The woman basically told my aunt that in her past life her twin brother was her husband. In this life he was her brother but due to her attachment to him, she could not find any other man to marry. Subsequently she remained as a single woman all her life.
This is caused by attachment. Two persons, who are husband and wife, even if they are not in the marriage register, usually develop deep attachment and this is even if they are usually at logger heads.
Thus if this attraction is not tempered, then it is likely that when they are in the afterworld, they will hang together and then when there is attraction to the new parents, they will get involved in that parental energy together and will come out as a set of twins.
Medical science or even the wishful thinking of the would-be parents are only the superficial causes of such things, because in the first place if there is no condition for pregnancy, then even science will fail to produce anything. Here again nature has to provide the major factors and then if that coincides with science or with wishful thinking, then we can rationalize that after the fact, that science or the imagination of the parent(s) is the cause.

If a certain individual and another individual were twins in some birth, then it is likely that they will be twins again in the new birth. This is highly likely in such cases.
Another problem is when you have conjoint twins who are fused into one body, like using one neck or one torso. This can happen due to a very imbalanced blind type of super attachment.
Nature determines what the embryo will turn out to be based on the energy of the child self or selves involved and also due to the parental influence. Usually the parental influence is coming from the physical social situation; while the attachment energy from the past life comes mostly from the self or selves who are to get the body.
Nature takes these factors into account and then prints out the copy as a certain type of embryo.
Relatives usually want to take birth again in the same family and so if they are not careful in this consideration, then it might happen that there are twins or conjoint twins.
In the present life, early on before I was fused into my parents begetting energy, there were two sisters, my elder and eldest sisters, who took birth before. I waited until my second sister got her body before I allowed myself to be full infused into the parental energy.
