Due to having to attend a social function yesterday, the breath infusion practice was not as effective. I could always try to be a fake yogi who thinks, believes or even visualizes energy bypassing the denseness which is in the bottom half of the trunk of the body, but who would be fooled by that? Who besides me?
Usually I eat specific foods and take these foods at certain times to facilitate breath infusion practice and the meditation which follows that. If this system is upset for one reason or the other, the practice goes off-course.
Here is my routine:
I begin my day with the maximum empty belly at about 4 am. Since at this time the last food which I ate was in the early afternoon of the previous day and the last main meal I ate was in the early morning at about 8 am, my stomach is fully relaxed from having to process foods. There is no food in the stomach to be processed at that time.
I do breath infusion and then sit to meditate. This comes to an end soon after 6 am.
I take my main meal at about 8 am. That time may vary from day to day but it is usually in the morning hours and never in the afternoon, at least it will be before 10 am. That is my main meal.
This main meal follows immediately after my most important breath infusion session and meditation session. This means that it has the most time to be digested within 24 hours before the next main meditation session.
I do a second breath infusion session in the afternoon around 5pm but that is the subsidiary session.
I eat light foods in the early afternoon, nothing heavy and never my main meal. During the morning after the main meal, I take about four bananas and I usually use these with hot or very warm water, which aids in the digestion of these and causes these to move through the digestive track with ease.
The main thing here is not so much what you eat but the time of eating it, eating to facilitate the breath infusion practice which is a huge factor in improving the quality of meditation and also in causing you to have objective direct psychic perception.
Right now we have little faith in psychic perception because we are relying heavily on the sure physical perception but that will not help us beyond the life of the present body. At least it won’t help until nature can manufacture another physical body for each of us in the next womb of the next mother.
Psychic perception will develop rapidly if one were to do the breath infusion. This will give one the required confidence in the afterlife and in the body which one will use in the afterlife. If there is no confidence in the afterlife, one will have little impetus to prepare for it and that will cause one to just lose the present body and then curl up again as an unconscious energy in the next mother’s womb. The result of that will be another baby form crying for milk when it is born.
Since I had to attend a function, and do a courtesy of eating a main meal at about 4 pm, the energy from that meal was there as a blockage in the belly region of the physical and the subtle bodies. As a result the breath infusion was not as effective as it usually is when my main meal is in the morning hours.
I was in no mood to pretend that I could transcend it or to forego the practice and to sit imagining that it was not there and that it had no effect because I was a transcendental soul or because I was not the petty self which ate that meal. I did the breath infusion and did the best I could with it but I noticed that the infused energy was absorbed by the dense energy in the system which was the current state of that food matter.
Somebody might prove that I am not the body and I am not the petty self which ate that late meal but that does not solve the problem of the energy upset which is tagged to that petty self which in turn is tagged to the transcendental self. Question to ask on these occasions is why did the transcendental self not control the petty self which in turn failed to control the social associations which caused that meal to be eaten. If this transcendental self is such a big deal and if the petty self is such a nuisance and is so unwanted, why is the transcendental self for all it is unable to control these situation and especially the behavior of the petty self?

I will be back on schedule today. So this will not be repeated. It is a great lesson in deviation from yoga practice and in confirming to influences which are not supportive of a rigid breath infusion/meditation habit.
The dichotomy of self into ego self and non-ego absolute god self really points a finger at the ineffective and powerless god self, which is unable to properly monitor and control the ego self which it blames for all its inadequacies. Therefore my motto is "down with the god-self". Until it can get itself in order and control the ego self, what is its value in the practical sense?
