Trunk Nadi Kriya

This is a procedure which was shown to me by Srila Yogeshwarananda. This is for those students who have pulled up kundalini into the brain stem as a stub energy which glows in the dark.

Once kundalini is pulled up the sushumna passage will remain in the trunk of the subtle body in the corresponding place of the physical spinal column. The yogi then has to repeatedly blast subtle energy (air) through that unoccupied sushumna central passage. This results in a white heat buildup in the passage. When this white heat energy reaches certain saturation, the bottom part of the central passage will dissipate, vanish. There will be a glow in the bottom part of the body.

After repeatedly blasting out these areas, it will seem as if the lower sushumna passage disappears entirely but there will be some dark energy in the other parts of the lower trunk of the body.

More practice will cause the top part of the central passage, from the third navel chakra to the neck to vaporize. This is the stage at which this practice, which I will describe in the next paragraph, can be done.

With the sushumna passage vaporize and with it not reappearing as it did before, one then does breath infusion, treating the whole trunk of the body as a sushumna nadi. This is a special practice and will cause the student to meet with very advanced yogis who mastered this, if that student has to leave the body.

Initially in this practice, one will find that most of the trunk has a dark astral energy in it. This is when one looks down into the trunk during breath infusion practice. There will be some light here and there, especially at the location of the base chakra where kundalini used to be positioned, but overall the trunk will have a heavy energy within it.

The breath infusion will cause the lower part of the trunk to eventually fill up with light, with a slight orange tint. This will then change into a white heat light which glows at the bottom of the body. Over time, the entire trunk will have this white heat energy. The trunk itself, will then seem to be the sushumna nadi

Meditation should begin immediately after this practice and one should immediately find the location of naad and listen to it to see if the frequency has changed. One should also be sure to check if naad sound has two source locations, which are vortexes which one cannot enter.

As soon as one identifies the location of naad, one should link to that sound. According to the degree of linkages one will know if it is dharana linkage, dhyan linkage or samadhi linkage. If effort is used to link, it is dharana practice on naad. If the linkage seems to be automatic and spontaneous, then it is dhyan linkage to naad. If one finds that as soon as there is contact the core self stays in naad and makes no effort to locate itself anywhere else, then that is samadhi linkage to this particular naad frequency.

If one finds that naad sound is all pervasive and that one cannot locate an origin point or a spot location where it is the loudest, then one should understand that for some reason one’s psychic perception is not keen enough to find the origin point. Then one should link to naad wherever one has a feeling to link to it.
