Trapped in an Elevator

In the astral last night, I was in an elevator which was descending very very rapidly. Initially, I did not realize I was in an astral environment because everything was so vivid. I was convinced that I was in a physical environment. Nonetheless, the elevator was descending very fast and my eyes were focused on the illuminated floor numbers above the door. I was frantically pushing buttons and pulling the emergency button on the panel to stop it but nothing was working. As I looked to the rear of the elevator, I saw a panel door slide open and a mechanical arm emerged attached with a syringe full of liquid.
I tried to avoid the arm but was completely helpless. I watched the syringe get stuck into the upper part of my arm and felt my body go limp as my eyes fell shut. As I laid there lifeless with my eyes close, it dawned on me that I was in the astral world, then my anxiety immediately dissipated. Shortly after I opened my eyes in my physical body to see if I was still alive.

This part is significant because it shows the attitude of the materialistic mind which considers the physical to be the most important reference. This mind will ridicule imagination and ridicule astral reality as just imagination, but it does not stop to critique its belief in the physical because that level of existence is solid to it for the time being.
The student yogi has to change this and develop more confidence in what is psychic. The subtle side of existence is also vivid. It is even more vivid than what is physical. Thus the whole attitude of the psyche which is to put down the psychic side of existence should be upturned.

It seems that someone or a group of persons currently disapproved of your lifestyle. Their energy was left somewhere in the astral world with a potency to latch on to you and cause you to change by hook or crook, so that your lifestyle would come into harmony with what this group of persons desire for you to do.
The whole experience is funny in a way.
Poor Dean, he is a nonconformist. Other folks think that he should get in line and live a normal life! That’s what happens when someone tries to escape from the Matrix.
