Thanks for all the time you have spent in trying to solve some doubts, as always I take it with a grain of salt, but your perspective is quite interesting.

I am very interested in trying to find again the Divine Body you said I was occupying when I had the experience I posted in the forum, though I doubt as apparently as you say it was incredibly high. Do you have any meditation or technique I could use to again re-enter it?

Is that it was so awesome, I felt boundless, full of bliss and that in this state I was nigh-omnipotent basically able to do anything. Awesome.

Also is there any state higher than that? I find it hard to believe existing in a state even higher than that, since said state was unlimited in all aspects, full of bliss and felt nigh-omnipotent (for some reason I didn’t attempt to do anything though, maybe it was some fear, or maybe it was the so called self-control that is said to come in higher states). But if there is a higher state it would be fun trying to achieve it, who knows maybe this is why having already this body I got stuck there to try to reach the next level.

So basically this is my question, is there something beyond this? If so what can I do to approach that goal is there some technique? If there isn’t guess all there is, is to try to regain that form if there is then it’s a new adventure.

But if there is, how is it possible? How is it possible to exist something beyond that seemingly infinite state, something beyond semi infinite bliss and semi infinite power? Are there levels to infinity? Is beyond this so abstract that it is beyond explanation or comprehension?

Anyway again thanks for answering my questions.

These are all worthwhile questions, properly considered and exciting to consider but think of this, that it happened by divine grace because it was not something that you authored or controlled.

I can get high on liquor or drugs by my choice. I can make that happen but you did not make the translation into a divine body happen. Something else was the cause and we are not in a position to route, control or even figure out that cause. So from that line of reasoning it is not possible to attain that state from our present position.

Here are some details which you might research further and also meditate on further to deny or affirm.

Right now the only two bodies which are within our reach is the physical system and the astral system which is used nightly in dreams and which sometimes is experienced objectively in a subtle world as astral projection.

These are the only two systems which are somewhat under our control. As for the physical body most of us have that down pat. But the astral body is only within control of a few psychics, mystics and the like. Most people do not even recall their dreams and never had any conscious astral projection.

In respect to that, I am saying that astral projection occurs every time the physical body sleeps and yet, people are saying that they do not experience it. So either I don’t know what I am talking about or their consciousness during sleep is so dense that it makes no conscious contact with the experiences of the astral body. In other words, most people sleep-walk in the astral world night after night and deny astral experiences simply because they have no objective take on it.

So with that you can understand that we already lost grip or never had a handle on the astral body. So how would it be possible to go beyond that? Anyway, since you asked, here is the information.

To go beyond the astral body one has to either do so by a divine grace as in your experience, or one has to energize the astral body to such an extent that its vibrations become alarmingly accelerated.

For instance in the space industry, they are able to send rockets beyond the earth’s gravitational pull by expensing large amounts of energy by burning super-fuels. This causes an acceleration, even though it is an external one with the burnt fuel leaving the spacecraft.

In the case of the astral body you would have to accelerate it from within. This was done in India by the practice of pranayama breath infusion. You have heard of Sri Paramhansa Yogananda, and if you read his information, he will mention the practice of pranayama.

However some people especially in the West have claimed to do the same thing by using visualization. You would have to test each of the recommended systems until you could find one that gives the desired results.

This is how it is:

Behind the physical world, there is the astral world, which is immediately adjacent to it. Beyond that immediate astral world, there is the celestial astral world where the supernatural controllers like Jesus, Indra and others reside. Beyond their territory there is a demarcation zone and then there are a set of dimension in which very highly evolved and divine teachers exist. Beyond that place, there is the place of the creator-god whose mind is the support for all the psychological activities below that realm.

At that point if you get there you are at the highest plane in subtle material existence. Beyond there is a demarcation zone where nothing exist, a sort of black zone. Beyond that there is a place which is sheer light, spiritual light. Beyond that there is a place called the spiritual world.

If you check on the Indian text named the Srimad Bhagavatam and check Canto 5 of that text, you can read about how these worlds are geographically located. This book is also known under the name of Bhagavata Purana.

I liked what you said about it being fun trying to achieve a higher place. That is a great way of considering the passage from here to the higher places.

You asked about attaining some higher place. Well let me cite something from Patanjali which is square on this:

The transformation from one category to another is by the saturation of the subtle material nature. (Yoga Sutras 4.2)

So in your case by some divine grace, your psyche became saturated with divine energy and you had those experiences. Can that be repeated?

I will let you ponder on that, on how you could again lure or attract that divine grace.

Is there a spiritual practice whereby a person can infuse their psychology with energy from a higher place? The answer is yes. It can be done through yoga austerities.

Patanjali explained what yoga is and gave some brief summary instructions on how to do it. See the Yoga Sutras. I translated and commented on it in my books, Yoga Sutras English, Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and Meditation Expertise, but there are other translators and commentaries.

There is however a very important literature from India which is called the Uddhava Gita. That is the highest most complete information on these matters which I am aware of. I did a translation and commentary of that book. This book is an extraction from the same Srimad Bhagavatam which I mentioned earlier. It is located in the 11th Canto of that book.

Right now your best bet to begin reading up on this and then you can get some idea of the process required and of the accomplishments of past yogis who achieved higher worlds.

As in this world, when you cross borders or even if you jump to a higher status in society, you inevitably must work with individuals. In the spiritual quest you will run up against the same kind of thing, where to translate to a higher place you might have to deal with a deity or with some advanced person who is resident in that higher zone. So take that into consideration.
