Is too much love bad in some situations?
My theory is light always wins over darkness yet now days I am starting to wonder on lower levels if that is always the case? You all just might be the perfect ones to answer that question for me?
As I follow the Tibetan situation very closely daily. Many of my Tibetan friends look to me for answers yet nothing is working out. The more the Tibetans love and offer kindness the more the Chinese torture and kill them.
There are even underground restaurants in China that cook human babies and make soup out of them. I have all the facts and pictures so don’t say no. The more love they give the more they are killed, tortured and even eaten so what happened to love?

That is a good service which you are rendering by listening to the plight of the Tibetans and even making suggestions.
The Tibetans in exile and even the ones remaining in China are not all on the same level of consciousness. This means that a general council has to take that into account and act for the whole body, rather than act just for the head of the body, which in this case are the spiritual leaders like the Dalai Lama and the other Senior Lamas.
If a prescription is just for the head, then it may not work because what is good for the head may not be suitable, for say, the toe.
I was in China in 2006. I visited at least one Tibetan temple. When we were walking into the court yard we first ran into some Communist Party people and there was a curios shop which had some literature which if you read it you would know that it was prepared under supervisor of the communist party. We went into the grounds and visited the central temple. There was a sort of hollow feeling there as if something was amiss.
It was the same thing at the Taoist temples except that there were no communist party representatives supervising everything. The government does not perceive the Taoist as a threat.
We saw some Tibetans in the city of Xiang and also some Mongolians. The Tibetans stand out because of their orangish skin complexion and their features. They appeared to be a lost set of people who were sitting around the pavements in the city, with a blank stare as if something had hit them.
In spiritual life honesty is important. I am not pointing a finger at anybody but you can read between the lines.

Here is it:
If you are fighting a political battle, then call it that. Do not mix spirituality into it. Do not be sentimental. Fight the good fight and be done with it, win or lose.
If you are fighting the spiritual struggle, then it can’t be with the conquerors or with any politicians because the spiritual struggle is an inside thing, within your own nature and mind.
If these things are mixed, if the struggle continue to be mixed then there will never be a solution.

Bhagavad Gita is not their scripture and for that matter some Buddhist priests deride the Mahabharata and the Gita which is an extraction from the Mahabharata. They say that because it involves politics it should not be followed. But actually this is a misunderstanding. When Arjuna wanted to mix the two things, the spiritual nonviolent approach and the political materialistic approach, Krishna prohibited it and told Arjuna to fight as a warrior and not to sit around contemplating anything. Political means social actions. Spirituality means psychological actions.
May spiritual groups which are not regarded as cults or as failed cults, went down the drain because of the confusion between spirituality and politics, because of the dishonesty of trying to cover up politic acquisitions with spiritual moods.

The big question is what was the example of Gautama Buddha? What did he do politically? There were tribal wars in the area when Buddha left his father’s city and was taking many disciples.
Buddha never got involved in anything political. Some of the rulers used to come to him for advice and he never got involved. Why?
Why did he not mix the two features?
So if we are speaking politics let us do so honestly and not try to polish it with a spiritual sheen. Either way you look at it politics has this ugly side and sometimes it involves weapons. Dreaming up something else is just that, pure dream!
