The Trump Lies - Reaction to Video

A reaction to post by Mi~Beloved video:

It is my opinion that this situation cannot be assessed easily. Only from a study of mental illness as in psychology or psychiatry or living long and close enough to an individual who is afflicted can one actually understand. Pathological lying is a condition, it is not that our fellow president finds this particularly helpful and amusing. It is a compulsive behavior, one he cannot help. See definition of pathological lying.

Everyone will lie occasionally, at the very least give the appearance of such. And kids, in particular, might lie or make up stuff in order to obtain their way,  etc.  Living with a pathological liar is what the nation at large is experiencing, and from experience, it is a baffling situation. One ends up actually doubting one's own mind in relation to what the other person keeps lying about. So the rest of us can be thankful to not be intimately related to Mr. President.

It is also important to note, from my exposure to the condition that the afflicted individual doesn't lie about the kind of stuff that a normal one would. The lies are just about anything, even trivial stuff. In addition, from my observation, there is typically comorbidity of other psychosocial complications or abnormalities. However, unless you can spend time analyzing such person in different settings and with particular critical impetus, it is not likely to come up with the verdict.
