The danger of sex potential

For this paragraph I got an email:
Sexual intercourse has great value in the pursuit of brahman (brahmacharya) in so far as it may cause the ascetic to become aware of a design of his psyche which is itself against the development of the interest in spiritual existence. If ascetic has a psyche which has the potential for sexual pleasure, then the fact that the ascetic has no sexual experience or has no developed sexual organs means absolutely nothing in the long term. The danger then is that potential. If it is part of the potential then it means that attempts to reach the brahma spiritual zone will never be completed because of the potential energy which will, as soon as it is facilitated, take the ascetic away from brahman while giving him the reward of carnal knowledge or intimate experience about the interactions and mixing of sexual potency.
How does one know if one is a danger as defined above?

Every person who is in the mundane evolutionary cycle is in the danger defined above. There are no exceptions except for divine beings who descended (avatar). They can abruptly abandon material existence but others will, more than likely, have to remain here transmigrating from body to body.
Suppose we attended a lecture at the nearest hospital, a lecture on death. A surgeon and a mortician are the professors giving the lecture.
What should I do after the lecture?
Should I approach them saying,
Does this apply specifically to me?
Were you lecturing on my potential death?
Do you feel that death is a danger with me?

Regarding when people fall in love, is their attraction the carnal potency you are talking about?

Their attraction is not the carnal potency but it involves the expression of that carnal potency. Even without falling in love, the potency is there either in a latent, potential or actual form. But as the branch of a tree grows towards the sun, so carnal potency in the individual is best expressed through falling in love.
