Taking the Astral Body back to a past time

Astral Projection is mostly concerned with the now, not with the past and not with the future. But that now means the now of the particular dimension you enter in the astral world.
What astral projects?
Your psychology or subtle body is what astral projects, which means that it becomes displaced from your physical body. But this is happening every time your physical body sleeps. Therefore when a person astral projects what we are really saying is that he or she becomes conscious of the natural projection of the subtle or astral body as it is displaced out of the physical one.
Astral projection is happening all the time, within every 24 hours, every time the physical body sleeps but we are not conscious of it. When we become conscious of that displacement, then we say that we are astral projecting but actually we are just becoming conscious of that.
As for going back into your own past and the past of your relative and reliving that, this is possible but to do that requires more than astral projection. It requires the power to synchronize into the record of the past which is in the universe as stored subtle energy. It is possible to do this but that will require changes in the subtle body to permit it to do that. I am using subtle body and astral body interchangeably in this correspondence.
Mostly when that sort of experience is gained, it is gained spontaneously and not on demand, not by desire or wish. People who practice deep meditation and some gifted psychics can do that but others experience that spontaneously and usually the experiences are not repeated.
It is possible but it is not probably. It is hardly likely that this will happen. For one thing going back into another person’s past is the same as going back into that person’s subconscious mind or in Yoga, into the person’s causal body. But to do that one would have to really be a great yogi or mystic.
Astral travel and its mastership takes years of practice actually, even though on the Web it is hyped to be otherwise.

It is hardly likely that you will be able to go back, and if you do it will be done spontaneously when you least expect. It will not happen because you desire it because your will power is not connected to the psychic mechanism which bring on that sort of experience.
However I will answer the question for information sake:
Usually no one will see you if you go back and the reason for that is that those persons will not be focused into their subconscious memory of their actions at that time. Their conscious minds would have to be targeting into the subconscious. And I am sure you know pretty well that you have never perhaps had any experiences of your conscious self being in your subconscious, consciously. Usually when a person enters the subconscious, say as in hypnosis or in case of psychic who do life readings, they are not objectively in charge of the situation.
So if you go back, assuming that you get that experience, you will find that you are focused through the form you used then but that everyone else is acting as if they are like robots. You will also realize that they are not perceiving your existence as if you were an invisible person there, even though you will feel that you are actually present there and seeing everything that is going on.
If you have this experience, the only way you can know when this happened in the past is by the way the people are dressed, by the design of the houses and things like that because you cannot interact. If you try to interact it turns out to be nothing because those persons cannot perceive you, simply because their conscious selves are not focused into their subconscious memories.
And you cannot change anything you will only find that everything is repeated as it was in the past and that you just do not have the power to act in a new way.

Usually when one goes back into the past like that, it does not have negative experiences, unless you go back to a time, when there was negative historic acts, like for example going back to a scene in WW2.
Demons or criminal entities exist all over the lower astral world but mostly in lower dimensions. So unless you go to a lower astral place, a hell world, it is hardly likely that you will meet one.

This is possible but it is not likely that this would happen, and it certainly has little chance of happening just because it is your desire.
Sometimes one’s astral body resumes the form you used in infancy or the form you used in a previous life and another person’s body does likewise and resumes a corresponding form which was present when you were in that previous or past existence. You then interact with that person and carry on the relationship you had before. This sometimes happens with people whom you had a disagreement with and then you make an effort to settle that disagreement.
I had a meeting in the astral world with a grandparent of mine who helped to raise me when I was an infant. A subconscious part of her psyche wanted to continue asserting her authority over me, and because of that her astral body assumed the old granny form and my astral body resumed its infant form, and then we began to argue.
I tried to explain to her that she was no longer a senior since actually she already took birth in a body which was much younger than mine at present.
This went on for about two weeks nightly and then the tension eased between her and I did not see her astral body in that old form any more.
But this did not happen because I wished for it. It happened because in her subtle body there was this subconscious tension which that form wanted to release.
The second part of this is that this person has no awareness that her subtle body did this.
Again as I explained previously, the other person cannot know this unless their conscious mind is focused into and through their subconscious mind and that is hardly likely.
I was aware of it because I dedicated over 38 years to meditation and mystic practices, otherwise this may have happened and I would not have even known anything about it, due to not being focused into my subconscious.

You will not be able to do this, because as I said above, her conscious self is not focused into her subconscious where those motivational energies are located.
The other reason which disables you is the fact that her diabetic condition is not based on your advice or the lack of it. In other words, she became a diabetic not because she failed to follow your advice, It was due to other reasons and for the most part, in these cases, one cannot remove the said reasons because they are usually inherent in the person who is victimized by the disease.
I will show you what I mean. In the case of that grandparent from the past life, whose subtle body I encountered in the astral world, as described above. I had some input into that person’s upbringing when that person took a child’s form again and I tried to help that person with removing the dietary basis of the formation of diabetes.
Even though the person was conscious then and I was working with the person’s conscious self, still the person had such a need for that negative diet that the person returned to their old way of eating foods which bring on and support diabetes.
Therefore to help someone from the past, one has to reach that person in a future life and be in a position of authority to enforce those corrective methods either as a medical professional or as a senior relative, and still that will not guarantee that the person will change.
Any habit which brings with it pleasure and satisfaction, cannot be removed by superficial advice or even by enforced advise, the person himself or herself has to realize the error and then has to fight within himself or herself to work against inner tendencies.
When I was in the Philippines in the US Air Force around 1971, there was an epidemic of gonorrhea among some of the service men, due to their sexual activity with native prostitutes. We were even shown movies showing cases of incurable gonorrhea and its ghastly effects, we were even told ahead of time, that if we contracted an incurable form, we would pass away so many weeks after in great pain and would be reported as missing in action in the Vietnam.
But do you think that it stopped all servicemen from seeing the native women. It did not. Guys would get the disease once, twice, thrice, and be in pain and be treated and still go back.
This is because if there is a pleasure associated with a certain habit, the pleasure offsets the pain of it which comes later, and the individual is unable to resist because of not being able to decide to be self-deprived of the pleasure.
You should be careful though because what you desire might well come to you in a way which you might not like. If you really want to go back and help that person, fate might design a situation for you to meet that person as a senior in some future life and then you can try to help that person. But most likely you will fail in your effort.
