Taking a gun into Samadhi

Mediation after breath infusion, this morning, was pretty interesting. At first as soon as I sat to meditate, there was this idea that I should note what was to be, before going into meditation.

Actually this is prohibited and goes under the terms of samprajnata samadhi. It means that you are going into samadhi with a loaded gun, in order to shoot at the experience just to observe it. So this is prohibited.

Why do I do it?

Well I have a mission which is to describe what happens in my practice, so I am permitted to violate the rule under that premise.

Samprajnata samadhi is the simplest of terms, means a samadhi with a motive, with an intention. Asamprajnata samadhi is without intention, free of any motive, completely open. But in that you cannot necessarily bring back anything from the state you were in, except to say that it was infinite, it was indescribable and so on.

So at first when the meditation started, I saw where it was going because it was like you are suddenly in this spaceship and you see that the control panel is set for the planet Mars. So you jump out real fast and write that down and then get back into the spaceship before it takes off. You don’t want to be left behind and if you linger too long writing things down outside the ship then it will blast off and leave you thee with your notes.

At first as soon I as entered the state, the entire head and trunk of the subtle body was vacant with light energy here and there. I heard naad on the left side mostly but pervading the entire psyche. It was loud as if someone left a speaker system on with the loudest volume possible. I immediately shifted myself to tune into naad light.

This took just seconds since I can do this rapidly due to practice proficiency. Then there was this up-thrust of energy coming from the trunk. It had stretched the subtle neck and it seems as if the neck would just tear off from the trunk of the subtle boy. The up-trust was forceful. Even the physical chin went up on its own and was being pushed up more and more and more. From within the subtle head, I looked down into the pushing energy which was passing through the neck but I could not see anything below it except an atmosphere which had varied colored light in shafts here and there.

I remained in this force for about 10 minutes and then everything changed. The force was no longer present and I began to perceive images at the frontal part of the head of the subtle body. These were at the third eye brow chakra but across the whole front of the face. I then perceived a woman thinking of talking to me about some matters which I knew of. This was something which I discussed with this person years ago. She was going over the incidence in her mind.

Third eye perception can be very psychic on occasion.
