Swamis and Sex Desire

A swami who passed about a week ago, came this morning just when I was about to rise to do exercises. He said he wanted to take a look at the yoga practice, now that he is departed and is free to do so. This is a swami who was an officiating spiritual master in the Hare Krishna Movement; due to prohibitions in their society concerning yoga, he could not do any of it while he was using his physical body.
Due to having homosexual tendencies, he got trapped in pedophile activities with some boys who were in the boarding school in the religious society. He said to me,
========================
“Yoga was not allowed by our teacher but I feel that perhaps it would have helped many of us to curb sex desire. We could have done it for say a half-an-hour or even one hour, early in the morning and then we could have cleaned up and then attend to our worship procedures and chanting schedule. There was time enough for it.”
“Many of us had to deal with sex desire and we had no way to do it. Yoga especially the asanas and the pranayama practice could have been effective.”
========================
When I began the postures and breath infusion, he followed what I was doing and then after about ten minutes another Swami who was his main assistant and god-brother came there. This person used to be the main teacher at a boarding school where I taught when I was in the society. He also had homosexual tendencies and was accused of having sexual relationships with some boys. Seeing the Swami doing the exercises, he began to do the exercises as well. He showed some congeniality towards me even though he was hostile to me when I lived in the ashram and worked in the school under his supervision.
Once when I was living in their ashram, this other Swami approached me to inform me that I could take time off, nights off, to go and see my wife. He was concerned that I was not getting any sexual intercourse. Since they discovered that I was not as needy for sex as they thought I should be, they began to wonder about the cause of it. Eventually they felt that yoga practice must have been the cause, even though in their ashram yoga was banned and I never did any of it while I was there for that very reason.
It is interesting how human beings get a religious belief and then go crazy and get fanatical about it, to the extent that they cannot properly evaluate it for what it really is. And then they cannot adjust themselves until they leave the physical body, because they become afraid of a bad name in the religious society and they feel they have to protect their status among their religious peers.

Dean's question: It sounds like you had to be doing some type of praniama practice to curb the sex energy and also they were aware that you did yoga practice even though it was prohibited. How were you able to perform your practice undetected?

Anyone who was in the Hare Krishna ashram life for any period of time, will tell you that initially there was absolutely no yoga practice. Nowadays there is yoga at some of their institutions but that was not there initially. In fact if one was found to be doing it, one was threatened with dismissal from the ashram.
They insist that you can attain perfection by chanting the Hare Krishna Mahamantra and by living under the instruction of their teacher.
However these Swamis got some information about me and knew that I was a yoga teacher before I joined the ashram. I was suspect about that. While in the society my yoga practice came to an abrupt end but I continued it on the astral planes and they would not know about that because they did not have the mystic capacity to observe that. And yet, their intuition told them that I was somehow or the other continuing the practice.
Now years after, when their process did not pay off for them, even in the hereafter, they are giving it a second thought.

.. This is why I feel happy that I wasn't brought up religiously or pressured into going to Church by my parents etc. although I was brought up with Christian values. I feel that it gave me space to become inquisitive by myself which otherwise could have been quashed by being brought up on a strict doctrine.
