Swami Muktananda's Practice

Exercises were okay this morning with a few incidences. First one of those deceased ladies came, the one who was the most serious about the exercises and the one who had the intellectual acumen to deal with yoga philosophy. She said that Rishi and some others spoke to her and instructed her more seriously in the duties involved in doing yoga practice. They permitted her to come and practice any time. A second lady was told only to learn from this first lady. And the third was instructed not to come for lessons even though she could learn from other teachers. This last person was deceased over 30 years ago in a very old body over 80 years of age. By doing breath infusion practice in the astral world, her astral body which looked like the 80 years old form changed into one which was about 18 years of age. So this person was really impressed with yoga but has the idea that it has to do with beauty and youthfulness.
During the session, Rishi Singh did not show up but I did see a few dakshini angelic women instructing the lady who was the most advanced of those three deceased persons.
Half way through the exercises kundalini rose on one side of the body when I did a side stretch and then it went into the right eyeball and was like several micro crystals of bliss energy packed tightly in a little ball. When I stretched to the left side, kundalini rose but with less impetus.
Soon after that as I was infusing the subtle body, Swami Muktananada whom I mentioned in a post yesterday, appeared. He was glad that I advanced somewhat since I last saw him in the astral which is over one year ago. He showed me some inner locks but he did not mention any kriyas.

He said this:
When as a youth I used to practice pranayama intensively, sometimes I would do breath exercises for two hours per day and once it increased to four hours a day.
At the time in India, some yogis were doing this and I learnt the technique. This practice culminated in direct perception into the chit akasha, the spiritual world.
The key to the advancement is to never give up and to keep seeking out more advanced means of progression. However there is a retardative energy which might affect a not-so-advanced yogi. That negative energy will always keep the person down so that there is no experience of real transcendence.
The old man, our father, Nityananda Baba, assisted me considerably and also infused grace energies into my psyche but that was not all. I had to work aggressively for years before he assisted me.
The neophytes are bogged down by a negative energy which stipulates in their minds that they should not do much yoga and that they can do meditation without asanas and pranayama. This is just like when you use a jeep on a country road. If the weather is right, if it is dry, you will coast along as you desire, but in the rainy season the vehicle will be bogged down. I state this to bring to fore, that the yogi’s endeavors alone cannot take the yogi to full success. The yogi is comparable to the jeep, the psychic environment in the mind of the yogi is comparable to the road. So if the road is muddy, even a new jeep that is built for the terrain will be stalled.
There are external and internal forces which impede the yogi, the sooner that is realized the better it will be.

Swami Muktananada showed me some locks which are in the trunk of the body. These control the various hanging tissues which are attached to the organs in the body. These locks can be applied when one’s practice become very advanced.
