Naad sound resounds all around in the mind field. During meditation attempt attention was put to the right where the usual node was located. The sounds although sharp were not so loud, and the left side did not have much going on.

Naad sound resounds all around in the mind field.

There was clarity with the sounds as opposed to loudness.

Explain how you are using the word clarity.
Try to define also the type of perception, whether it is sound or vibration.
For instance in an earthquake there might be a rumbling sound or no sound at all which a human ear can perceive, but there will be vibrations in the earth, which are very pronounced. A person in an aircraft would not feel the vibrations and will not hear a rumbling sound but may see the shaking action of the buildings.
These are different types of perception. When adhering to naad, the student needs to sort which perception is being used. Even if it is not easy to do so, or that student is perception-differentiation blind, still an effort should be made to sort the various sensual perceptions.
This effort won't pay off overnight but it will in the long haul. But it will never develop if the effort is not made to discern it.
If an infant just sits on the floor and never attempts to walk, then the infant will never walk. But all the same initial attempts at walking are all failures and still these failures add up in the long run to successful walking.
